On a school campus in Taiwan, a 15-year-old boy slashed someone‘s neck with a switchblade, instigated by another student.

And the result?! 12 years in prison for the main killer, 11 years for the instigator. A lost life doesn’t get a second chance, but a prison sentence eventually comes to an end. >
What even is the standard for justice? You claim the death penalty won‘t stop the next tragedy from happening, but can the public really accept that? This is so fucking ridiculous—a human life is only worth a decade!?

The perpetrators are protected by the Juvenile Justice Act, while the victim’s family is left to suffer a lifetime of unerasable trauma.

The news always plasters the victim’s face everywhere, but how many times have they ever shown the faces of the killers?!
