Vridi, c’est le quartier où j’ai grandi, entre la mer et les cheminées. Avec Vridi 2055 j’imagine un futur possible de ce lieu que j’appelle chez moi. Un lieu pris en étau entre l'avancement de la mer et les zones industrielles qui le bordent depuis des décennies. Vridi 2055 est une manière d’imaginer le futur de ce lieu que j’appelle chez moi.

Je voulais que tout sois parfait avant de partager avec vous mais je me suis rendu compte que ce n’était pas le plus important et qu'il fallait que le projet existe quelque part d’autre que dans ma tête et mon ordinateur.

Alors je commence ici comme un petit carnet visuel de ce que je crée, teste et découvre au quotidien.

Late post

Grand-Bassam, a place to slow down, dream, and create.

I’m happy to have contributed photographs to this piece for @guardian , exploring the artists and creative spaces shaping Grand-Bassam’s growing cultural scene.

It feels particularly special to photograph a place that has become part of my own story, and to see it through the eyes of the artists who have chosen to make it home.

Très heureuse de vous partager quelques fragments d’un travail réalisé avec @actioncontrelafaim, mon premier reportage documentaire de cette envergure ( pinching myself 🤯 ) Sur le terrain c’était des rencontres, des visages, des histoires plus qu’inspirantes.

Une première expérience marquante, qui m’a rappelé pourquoi raconter le réel est essentiel.

📸 À fleur de crâne — Côte d’Ivoire

Dans certaines écoles ivoiriennes, les cheveux des filles doivent être rasés, comme une exigence silencieuse. Une norme imposée dès l’enfance, au nom de la discipline.

Mais que disent ces corps alignés, ces regards tendres, ces gestes de complicité ?

Ces images cherchent à raconter ce qu’on ne dit pas toujours : la résistance douce, les rêves qui poussent sous les crânes rasés, la solidarité dans les couloirs, l’envie d’exister autrement, malgré les injonctions.

EN- In some Ivorian schools, girls are still required to shave their heads, a silent demand, imposed in the name of discipline. A rule applied early, as if obedience must begin on the scalp.

But what do these aligned bodies, gentle gazes, and quiet gestures really say?

These images try to speak the unsaid: soft resistance, dreams growing beneath shaved skulls, hallway solidarities, and the quiet will to exist differently despite the rules.
