📝 Directors Note:
This short film was produced by a young, up and coming team in South Africa for the SASA Short Film Comp 2.0. We placed 4th overall with some extremely stiff competition. The judges gave us an average score of 8/10. We are both very proud of our effort, and not quite 100% satisfied with our result. We know we can improve… and we know we will.

We had some limitations in terms of time, things didn’t go exactly as planned, but what we achieved and what we learnt along the way feels like a strong step forward alongside some of the best our country has to offer.

We made sure to try showcase our own strong skills and add a unique and challenging twist with the comedic value.

🫡 Still many things that we would or could’ve done differently, but this process helps us realise these things so we can do better next time! So everyone who competed will definitely feel like a winner after an experience like this.

👏 Well done to everyone who showed up and created such awesome short stories! Huge boost for the community in a time that many have found tough due to a quiet period due to political policies. We all come out stronger as an industry for it. taken in Cape Town, South Africa by @aidan.moves
