Opus 5.5 better than GPT 6 Astra? 👀

Anthropic just dropped Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in the new 5.5 family.
They say it performs at the level of Fable 5.1, their smartest model, on most tasks. And it's faster and cheaper to run than Opus 5.
To celebrate, they raised the 5-hour usage limits on Pro, Max and Team.

The cheapest useful AI I’ve actually tested.

Jev has a narrow job: structured decisions. TypeSafe currently lists Jev 1.13 at $0.042 per million input tokens, with no output-token charge.

This example asks four questions about a lead message. Input tokens still cost money; “effectively zero” is shorthand for very low cost.

I copied two viral reels today with my own footage. Every step and the one mistake, in under a minute.

AI is going to take over the world. Let me explain.

This week the people building it asked to slow it down. Anthropic's CEO Dario Amodei called for pumping the brakes on frontier AI, and Sam Altman and Elon Musk both agreed with him.

The way I read it: if your job lives on a computer, you learn to use AI now or you get replaced by someone who did. Physical work gets more valuable, not less.

I think AI just killed video editing for real this time.

I gave Claude my raw clips and a reel I liked. It studied the edit frame by frame, then cut mine the same way: captions, whips, the matte, all of it.
