ask me how hard it is to *not* adopt this sweetie pie myself 😭

but you can!

apricot, who has gone by lola this past month, has been one of the easiest additions to our normal family flow and is ready for you to let her join yours!

i've spent 9 days getting to know her gentle personality and what this girl needs to thrive.

so if you can spare some treats, a long lead, and 2 30 minute walks a day with this precious angel bb - you should absolutely follow this link and bring her home -->

Accomplished businesswomen and friends Michelle Reed and Theresa Armstrong, owner of Dogs of the Dunes, shook hands with Portage, IN mayor Austin Bonta at the Portage Cruise Night & Car Show on Sunday. The republican, who Reed jokingly called “the Prince of Portage” donned an american flag cowboy hat and thanked constituents for their attendance. A minute in the pit could be had for $20–the fees going to a charitable cause. The philanthropic drivers did burnouts, donuts and wheelies at the Portage Mall, next to Founders Square Park, after making their donations. Reed explained the nickname was a reference to The Prince of Parties by Flight of the Conchords. taken in Portage Founders Square by @aidanmindset

hopper + his mama were clocked in at the locked in factory yesterday for their loose leash walking practice! 💪🏼

it's never just blind obedience over here at dotd

we're building confident puppies and competent handlers, one session at a time.

some of the #dunedog action this week:

1. gus! we met at flounder + friends skatepark @ the old fairgrounds for some work on walking, stay, and leave-it around people, boards + bikes, and his biggest activator of all -- other dogs. you already know he and mama CRUSHED.

2. jupiter! an aussie/cattle dog mix, joining us to work on his intense reactivity in and outside the home. this was session one and i was thrilled with our progress in an hour. can't wait to see the changes over our full 6 sessions!

3. ada! session 2 for us. and WOW! this girl's desire to get the answer right leaves her offering any and everything she can -- including screaming right in your face (lovingly, ofc). we introduced leave-it alongside place and were able to push her pretty far in an hour. a whole different dog between sesh 1 and 2 tbh!

4. biff + dale! you've seen dale (right) here before but mama brought home this handsome fella to his left a few weeks ago. and guess what -- rumor has it that they are blood brothers! the DNA test arrived the other day so now we wait.

5. pearl! her second boarding stay with us. this girl is the sweetest little pea and made friends with dakota the cavalier.

6. coco! emma and i popped over for a quick visit on wednesday. you know i love a lab!

7. quentin! a few drop-in visits for this dude while mom and dad were on an overnight adventure.

8. prickly pear in OD.

9. mushy friend on my walk w/kylo.

10. kylo! a poo with a view.

“as for article, seemed good, was hooked reading for the first paragraphs. Because seemed bizzare,” my beta-reader said, adding “i dont have any familiarity with such a practice because in italy no university gives you community owned places.”

Hi everyone, Aidan Lineberry here. I wrote this story on April 17 and it’s just now seeing the light of day. It’s too long—785 words—and the pictures are lacking, but I think that it’s strange and touching and makes for a good story. I for one hope they can become permitted and grow.
