@e_lynne1 was nine months pregnant, due any day, and she still showed up to lend her voice to Heartbeat — the same tone that blended with mine years ago singing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" in Orlando. Some voices you just never forget.

72 hours out from vocal fold PRP round 2, and here's where my voice actually is right now, no polish, no overnight-fix promises, just the honest in-between. I’ve been through 1 round of PRP already and I know the recovery takes weeks / months, NOT days. I also am aware that it will feel worse before it gets better, but that’s the impact of the procedure on the vocal folds and then the body’s healing afterwards. 💯
