3RD PLACE AT THE @officialgrcup @musiccitygp STREET RACE! 🎸 Physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted from the extreme heat and humidity (real feel ambient temperature was 105 degrees, with in-car cockpit temps roughly 30-40 degrees hotter than that), here are my raw emotions from directly after the podium celebrations.

With the limited track time available during the weekend, I knew I needed to hit the ground running on Friday morning. I studied loads of onboard videos and broadcasts from previous Music City GP events, trying to learn as much as I could before the weekend began. Even still, you can’t picture just how complex this circuit is until you drive on it for the first time. It’s quite daunting to lay it all on the line around a street circuit you’ve never been to, but when you get it right, BOY is it satisfying.

I cannot thank my team @precisionracingla enough for everything this weekend. Yet again, all of their strategic calls were on point, and the team’s foresight was a significant factor in our podium finish. I’d also like to give a special thanks to our new partner @gosegra- it was so great to meet all of you on Saturday, and I’m so happy I could deliver you a podium on your first weekend as a primary sponsor in the GR Cup!

Mental toughness was absolutely critical given the extreme heat Sunday’s race brought. The logistics behind a street circuit event make the little things challenging (parking, paddock layout, track/bridge crossover timing). Keeping these surrounding tasks in check while still being able to fully commit to our on track duties was very draining mentally for everyone there this weekend. For these reasons, it was especially satisfactory to bring @racing4mentalhealth onto their first podium in sports car racing this weekend!

We have a lot to be proud of this weekend, and we’ve got a quick turnaround to our next event at @roadamerica- I’m flying out in less than a week from today. It’ll be nice to be reunited with my @gtworldchallengeamerica fam, and FINALLY experience this new repave that’s gotten everyone talking! See you in cheese country 😉

P7. I REPEAT. 7TH IN THE WORLD!!! WE WERE THE FIRST AMERICANS TO FINISH THE RACE!!!

Absolutely over the moon with this result, I have no words! My job was to keep it clean at the start and @jordanmissig was an incredible anchor to secure us our strongest result of the season. It feels really good to reward the @waynetaylorracing guys for all the hard work they’ve been putting in on such a challenging week.

We have one more race tomorrow to close out the 2022 season. LET’S MAKE IT COUNT!!!

Last but certainly not least, I wanted to dedicate a post to my love @ambamberambest.

While we both got our degrees from different institutions, the fact that we both entered and exited college together is a testament to how much we love and respect each other.

Simply put, I would not be where I am today without you. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what, uplifting me through the good and bad days, and for never failing to put a smile on my face (usually in the form of an ultra specific Double A inside joke).

I love you so much!

I wanted to dedicate a post to my grad cap, because I feel like it deserves its own moment.

I wanted my cap to be racing themed (go figure), but with a focus on where and what I raced while in college. Some of my biggest personal and professional achievements came during my time at CSUF, and I wanted to proudly display that all at graduation.

Gridded up in chronological order on my grad cap, the cars I drove in college were:
- Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR
- Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO2
- Toyota GR86

And of course, leading the pack is my childhood idol since age 3, Lightning McQueen. “Cars” is where it all started, and the story is a good one. But that’s for another day 😉

The top of the cap showcases some pictures highlighting those moments; a podium at the Nashville Music City Grand Prix on my street circuit debut, celebrating my first national championship at COTA with my love @ambamberambest, and winning the first ever 24 Hour race at @sebringraceway.

I’m proud of what I achieved, and I feel so grateful to have been a part of such elite race teams during my journey. @w2wracing, @waynetaylorracingofficial, and @precisionracingla, thank you again for all that you’ve done for me, particularly in your support and advocacy of me as a college student. I’ll never, ever forget these moments.

Aidan Yoder, B.A.

I’m incredibly proud to have officially completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at @csufofficial! For a couple weeks now, I’ve been reflecting on my past 4 years in college, and it still hasn’t sunk in. I really am a college graduate.

Earning your Bachelor’s isn’t an easy feat for anyone. For me, the difficulty arose in balancing a full-time racing career and meeting the deadlines that come with being a full-time student. I vividly remember when my laptop couldn’t connect to the in-plane WiFi on a flight to New York, and I had to edit a presentation slideshow on my phone. I vividly remember completing balance sheets for my financial accounting class at 12 AM after a long day at the track the week of Lamborghini World Finals in Portugal. And I vividly remember, for 3 years, having a race the week of or before finals week, and splitting my time between studying and pounding laps on the simulator. Long story short, while traveling the world to drive race cars has been a lifelong dream of mine, living this double life wasn’t easy by any means.

Admittedly, I do hold myself to a very high standard. Graduating Cum Laude was a goal I set for myself in my freshman year.

Was Cum Laude necessary to be awarded my degree? Absolutely not. Is it something written on my degree that I can look back on with immense pride, telling myself “I did that” as I reminisce? Hell yes, it is.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank all the people that got me here, because this was a team effort in every sense of the phrase. To CSUF, my professors, faculty, co-workers, friends, and family, I’m eternally grateful for all you’ve done. Whether it be physical or mental support, you never failed to pick me up when I needed it most; I could not have done it without you. I feel so grateful to have found my people, and be leaving college with lifelong friends and memories.

The celebrations have already begun, and there will be many more throughout the summer! I’m gonna enjoy not having to submit a homework assignment ever again!

🏆 HONORABLE FINALIST AND TOP 20 CHAPTER AT ICC 2025!! 🏆

Another successful trip to New Orleans for the 49th annual @ama_collegiate International Collegiate Conference with my executive board from @csufama, this time bringing home some hardware!

This year, I competed in both the Marketplace Simulation and Perfect Pitch competitions. In the simulation, I worked @aazurinee, @mmialeducc, @tayy_benny_, and @_joanna.liu_ to run a mock bike shop. Throughout an intense 4.5 hours, we made various marketing decisions on advertisements, expansions, bike specs, and more, and our team placed in the top 50% of the 70+ universities that competed!

Next, it was onto Perfect Pitch, where, in 90 seconds, my task was to pitch myself to the competition’s sponsor, @gartner_inc, on why I’m the right fit for their company. There were over 600 students that entered this competition, and merely making it to the finals was an accomplishment in and of itself! I’m so proud to be awarded with an Honorable Mention in the finals, as this distinction means I’m in the TOP 10% of all students that competed from around the world.

Finally, CSUF AMA is officially distinguished as a TOP 20 Large Chapter in 2025! AMA is home to over 320 collegiate chapters, so this award is not something we take lightly; it’s a testament to how hard we’ve worked over the last 2 years. I love my E-Board, and I’m very excited to see our chapter continue to grow after I graduate!

One year ago today, @200_degrees_mrfahrenheit and I got to witness sporting greatness, as we watched LIONEL MESSI play his 2nd ever game in Los Angeles. The stadium was absolutely electric; everyone constantly chanting while wearing their retro FC Barcelona and Argentina jerseys. We were all there to share our love for The Beautiful Game, and witness one of the greatest to ever do it. It was easy to get lost in the Messi magic, but the night was made even more special as we got to watch Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba also showcase their talents! All incredible, global legends that have accomplished so much throughout their careers.

There’s nothing that compares to watching Messi score a goal- it was an experience I’ll never forget.
