This is far from my normal post. But this month is National Suicide Prevention Month. As a young boy, ripe age of fifteen, telling myself I wouldn’t live to see eighteen. Im eighteen now, and there is so much stuff I wish I could tell my younger self. I know my younger self wouldn’t even dare to look at my current self, I battled with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and im here to tell you, that the world is going to keep spinning, wether you decide to make your day to the fullest or not. YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR OWN LIFE. PEOPLE CANT DECIDE HOW YOUR DAY GOES. You dictate your life… But life goes on, but to the young man reading this, you matter. Through my hardships I’ve had to learn the hard way about certain things. I had a dream job lined up, messed it up. But the world keeps spinning. People are going to look down on you and not believe in you. BUT you have to believe in yourself. I know it’s hard, but just look around you, THIS ISNT BY CHANCE, you are MEANT to be here. People will come and go, things change, life goes on. You have to recognize that you cant do everything on your own. I built a small friend group of people I know i can rely on. theres so many words that just cant be typed. But at the end of the day, no matter what you think, you have a purpose, you are loved, and you are MEANT to be here. If you are able to recognize the problems and attack them, you will be okay. Things happen for a reason, everything has a purpose. We are meant to love each other. So this is my request to the person reading this. Tell someone you love them, you dont understand the gratitude that word holds. Or just a simple how is your day going. But I want anyone who is reading this post to remember that, YOU ARE LOVED.
