Who the Son sets free, is free indeed

What took place in Auburn, Alabama this past Sunday was truly a glimpse of the life to come. The stories and the experiences that were shared were nothing short of proof of Gods grace in so many peoples lives.

It took 3 years, but Jesus finally got a hold of me. Over the 3 years I was at Auburn, the greatest thing that Jesus had put in my life was ACC and the body of believers that call ACC home. I struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, loneliness, self hatred and at one point almost walked away from Christ completely, but He never gave up on me. You can never outrun God and He will always leave the ninety-nine to find the one.

To share this day with my brother was a blessing and something that we, along with every witness, will carry into eternity. Sunday was the beginning of building my life on a greater foundation- Jesus.

Behold the old has past, the new has come.

He will never leave you

He will never give up on you

He is always there for you

Auburn Community Church,

Seven years ago I walked into a small tent in a hotel parking lot, having no clue what the Lord was going to do through a local church body in Auburn, Alabama. Over the past seven years, ACC has showed me what it means to be a radical disciple for Jesus and not stopping one inch short of the life Christ died and rose for us to live.

I want to thank Pastor Miles, Gage and so many others at ACC for their profound leadership and humility. Thank you for staying true to the word of God as well as being so open and transparent with others.

The Lord was beyond faithful in allowing me to return to Auburn for a short season. Serving on Sundays, Small Group, 21 days of prayer, EHR, all of it were moments with Jesus & believers that I will never forget.

Every Sunday was just a small taste of what we will experience in Heaven one day. To see so many people earnestly seeking the heart of God on Sundays and then going out to be the church throughout the week was a testament to the heart posture of ACC.

Whether it be from small group, someone I met in the lobby or served with on a Sunday; you mean the world to me.

I’m praying we will all meet again and if not on this side of eternity, it will be in glory standing before the throne of Christ.

My time as a CFI has officially come to a close! The past year & nine months has been nothing short of incredible and I’m looking forward to the next chapter in life. I’m extremely grateful to God for allowing me to come back here for this short season.

It’s always been a goal of mine to share my passion for aviation and this job helped me do that in some small way. Though there were a lot of ups and downs, nothing brought me more joy than seeing my students succeed and get one step closer to their dreams.
