How do you explain something you experience in a moment but also in a year.

You can’t, but maybe you can, so I’ll atleast try. Maybe you’ll change the way you brush your teeth and put on your shoes. Or maybe you’ll change the way you look at yourself, start doing the things you want and achieving those long time goals, maybe you’ll begin to change without knowing! Growing and slowly becoming the version of yourself you’ve always wanted to be.

But how do you explain the moment you made those changes, where the perpetual motion of evolution began to be set in motion. When did you grow.

2024 You were incredible to me, you were my moment. You gave me motion, and to say I’m incredibly grateful for you is an understatement. Not everything was easy, and Lord knows we did not start off well. But as is always, everything was a lesson… and every lesson was valuable! I learnt to love myself for myself, I learnt to work on the things I didn’t love, and in the end I learnt what it means to be patient with myself!

Ofcourse there’s always more room to grow, there’s always a new challenge and there’s always a new opportunity, but it just feels so good to sit here and be that little closer to the person I wanted to be when I was a child. But to sit here and praise this year and not any of the people who were apart of it would be akin to blasphemy. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING would have changed or even mattered if the people who joined me on this journey were not apart of it.
So to all you sacred souls who added so much value, beauty and love, thank you…
