“Siuan could have kissed her. In fact, she did.” 🐟

I’m so tender about this drawing as it holds a very special place in my heart. I had begun it earlier this year and took quite a bit of time away from it, trying to evaluate what I want to truly make of it. I had the incredible honour of being able to give it to Ms. Pike herself, her response being - “I’m wearing a Moiraine dress tonight!”. It felt surreal and it still does when I think about it and I’m so grateful for being able to live through such a moment in this life. I’m missing them everyday and my heart has a little fish hut for them in it always. 🥺

I started this drawing on the 20th of November last year. I forgot about it and tonight I randomly decided to finish it instead of going to bed at a reasonable time :)

- This photoshoot is something else…also I had to add the “rock star” at the last slide. The urge was too strong 🤌

Had to draw this look of @mspike attending the ‘Ladies First’ premiere. 🪩 I loved drawing the hair, beautifully crafted by @davidebarbieri_ 🤍

- second to last slide is me experimenting with the colors a bit, saturation is slightly decreased and I feel like this palette gives off a much different vibe which i personally adore :D

I love them so so much…

- I have been wanting to draw Siuan and Moiraine as Novices for such a long time. I like to imagine that this is their first kiss, in their small Novice rooms. And that for a moment the world ceases to exist, save for this moment, bathed in tenderness and moonlight. 🥺

- For the design of their dresses I actually got inspired by the brief shot we saw back in S1E5, where we see two Novices pass by Moiraine, while she walks through the Tower in the evening!

A very experimental sketch of Moiraine 🤎

— I have been re-watching S3 recently and I’m very tender for this moment from EP 5 where Moiraine is asking Egwene to help her go to TAR. It’s such a soft and raw moment for Moiraine I think and I really wanted to draw it so here we are :D (this will definitely be colored as well but I really liked the initial sketch and wanted to share it!! 😁) by @aikasdrawings

#WoTtober Day 18: Weave ✨

The beauty of The One Power will always have me in awe. It’s so ethereal - the way the little threads of the different elements intertwine together to create separate coherent weaves 😍
The One Power - the pulse of reality, life itself. I can think about it for hours on end if I let myself :D

#WoTtober Day 3: Queen 👑

— For today’s prompt I wanted to depict Moiraine in an alternate turning of the Wheel, as the Sun Queen she never was. The design of her dress and armour is fully inspired by the costume created by the incredible costume designer’s team for the show — @sharon_gilham_costume_design, @karenbob73,
