Pink is my favourite colour, second to black 🖤💖 I’m trying to create art that makes me and my eyes happy, without worrying about being critically acclaimed or “correct”. I’ve finally made it to the ‘you do you, I do ms’ stage of life.

If you’re not completely human, you are the most beautiful being on this planet to me 🖤

I don’t usually paint men, but when I do, they’ve got that otherworldly beauty.

I used to wish my tummy was this flat, but after 2 c-sections I'm no longer bothered 😂

I find keeping facial features loose and painterly very difficult in portraits, especially on the iPad when zooming is so easy 🙈

This portrait was a turning point for me - I learnt to do art I love and put down brush strokes that I want. It's not about looking like the reference, or work by artists who you think are good. Create art from your soul. Paintings that you're proud of.

I'm an artist who loves oil painting. I'm also a mum of two who doesn't get the time to oil papaint (and doesn't want oil paint everywhere...) - digital art is mess free and easy to quickly put down 👌🏻
