As I’m writing this post i’m feeling emotional but in a positive way! I feel loved, accomplished, happy and successful that I am in this moment in my life where I’m surrounded by a great support system.

To my girlfriend and all my friends that came to see me on Saturday you are the reason why I continue to do this. Your happiness is my happiness.

Shoutout to @djzehnopanda for connecting me with @miamibeachpride to be part of this magical moment. I am forever grateful 🥹🌈

Just two girls born and raised in the 305 with big dreams and a whole lot of love for music. ❤️

This past weekend reminded me how powerful it is when women genuinely support one another.

My girl @miladys opened a door for me because she believed in me, just as much as I believe in her. And that means more than she knows.

In an industry where we’re often made to feel like we’re competing for the same space, moments like these remind me that it doesn’t have to be that way.

We can celebrate each other’s wins, share opportunities, open doors, and make room for the next woman to shine.

And this goes beyond music. To every woman out there building something of her own, remember that another woman’s success doesn’t take away from yours.

Milly, thank you for believing in me and showing what genuine support looks like.

We’re not here to compete for space. We’re here to create more of it.

That’s how we win together. That’s how we rewrite the industry. 🤘🏻🇳🇮x🇨🇺 by @aileenthedj

IMPORTANT:
A reminder that this event centers and celebrates dykes of all paths and life experiences. This is one of the very few nights a month we are able to gather and celebrate each other while centering dykehood, if you don’t identify as a dyke please be mindful of the space you occupy as an ally or non-dyke identifying member of the LGBTQ+ community.
This is a dyke centered event, every one that identifies as such is welcome. We wont police or question anyone at the door but we expect that our guests and allies who don’t identify as such respect the space and the dykes in attendance. Please be kind, don’t be a hater.

SWAY & SIP: QUEER SALSA SOCIAL is returning to Miami Beach!

Our last event brought together over 200 people, and we’re ready for another night of dancing, meeting new people, and bringing the queer community together.

We’re starting with optional speed friending to help everyone break the ice, followed by a beginner-friendly salsa class with @melinmotion__ . Then @aileenthedj takes over with salsa, perreo, bachata and music to keep us dancing all night.

Come solo, bring your friends, meet someone cute, or just enjoy a night out with your community.

No dance experience or partner needed.

Everyone in the queer community is welcome!

Estos son los momentos que me dan tanta alegría de ser Nicaragüense. 💙🤍

@miggylaflaire, thank you for everything you do for our community. Bringing dreamers, creators, artists, and entrepreneurs together under one roof to connect, network, and, most importantly, represent nuestra cultura.

There’s something special about being surrounded by people who share the same roots, while seeing all the different ways we’re creating, building, and making our mark.

Que viva Nicaragua y nuestra gente. 🇳🇮 by @aileenthedj
