AI is changing how we work, build, and lead.
But the bigger question isn’t whether AI will change our careers. It will.
The question is: will we help shape that change, or will we simply adapt to decisions other people make?
AI Mastermind was created for people who want to be part of the conversation — people who want to understand what’s happening, experiment with what’s possible, and become leaders in their own fields.
That’s why we’re building this room.

You don’t become an AI leader by watching more AI content.

You become one by being in the room.

Make the time.
Join the conversation.
Ask deep questions.
Share what you’re seeing.
Learn from others.
Help someone else move forward.

Surround yourself with people who are curious enough to keep learning and ambitious enough to shape what’s next.

We want to be those people.

AI doesn’t have one skill level.
Someone might be building agents.
Someone else might be figuring out how to use AI in their day job.

That’s okay.

Every month, we pick a topic that matters in the AI world.
We bring people together from different industries, experiences, and levels.
We hear a few perspectives.
Then we break into smaller conversations where the real value starts:
What are you seeing?
What are you trying?
What’s working?
Where are you stuck?
The goal isn’t to give you all the answers.
It’s to leave you thinking differently — and knowing more people you can continue the conversation with.
The topic starts the conversation. The people take it somewhere.

Hello AI Mastermind community!
I’m so excited to introduce Di Le, our second featured speaker for Sustainable by Design, our third AI Mastermind meetup happening next Monday, October 5th!

Di is an AI Ethicist and Human-Centered AI Strategist at ServiceNow, working at the intersection of AI, ethics, human-machine interaction, and responsible innovation. She’s also a TEDx speaker, CES Innovation Awards judge, Google Women Techmakers Global Ambassador, and published researcher.
One idea from her TEDx talk that really stuck with me is “intentional friction”, creating the space to pause, question, and understand what AI is doing so we can make better, safer decisions about how we build and use it.
And honestly, I love this perspective because as AI becomes more powerful and more embedded in our lives, we need more space for people to understand what’s happening, ask better questions, and actually have a say in how these systems are built and used.

That’s exactly the kind of conversation I want us to have at Sustainable by Design: not just talking about the challenges AI creates, but understanding where we are today, what we can do about them, and how we can help shape what comes next.

I’m SO excited to have Di bring her perspective into this conversation, and I cannot wait to learn from her and hear what she has to say. ❤️‍🔥

Hello AI Mastermind community!

I’m so excited to introduce Ellen Spooner, our first featured speaker for Sustainable by Design, our third AI Mastermind meetup happening next Monday, October 5th!

Ellen has spent the past decade working at the intersection of communications, sustainability, climate, and technology. She’s also the co-founder of The Optimist Circuit, a podcast connecting AI, tech, nature, and people to explore how we can build a more optimistic future.

On a personal note, of everyone I’ve met since moving to San Diego, Ellen is truly one of the most inspiring women I’ve come across. Being around her means learning, growing, asking better questions, and leaving with a little more inspiration than you came with.

I genuinely don’t have enough good things to say about her, and I’m SO excited to have her as part of this conversation. I cannot wait to learn from her and hear her perspective on what it takes to make AI growth good for people and the planet.

AI Mastermind #2 Recap!

Back in August, we got together for our second AI Mastermind, and the energy in that room was something special. ✨
10 people from our community shared what they’re actually building with AI.
We had people showing projects, sharing ideas, asking questions, helping each other, and making new connections along the way.

There was so much curiosity in the room, so much generosity, and so many moments where I caught myself thinking, this is exactly why we built AI Mastermind. I left that night feeling incredibly inspired, and honestly, I’m still thinking about some of the conversations and moments from that meetup.

And now we’re doing it again 🚀

Coming in with ALL the details for our meet up tomorrow!

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Come check in, grab a drink, get your group number, and get settled.

6:20 PM — we start SHARP. We have a lot of amazing content packed into the night, so I’d highly recommend not being late for this one.

🔥 10 community members. 10 real ways they’re using AI.
Everyone presenting has a completely different perspective — from real estate and creative work to AI agents, productivity, data, building products, and more.
You can see everyone presenting on the slides above. WHAT A PANNEL! ❤️‍🔥

Then we’ll break into small-group discussions to talk about the biggest ideas from the night, followed by open networking — so you can actually meet the people behind the presentations.

The rough schedule:

🧠 7:00 — Breakout discussions
🤝 7:30 — Open networking
🌙 9:00 — We wrap

A few important things:

AI MASTERMIND #1 RECAP ❤️‍🔥

The first time we all got in the room together… and honestly, it was something special.

The conversations. The ideas. The questions. The connections that started that night.

Seeing how curious, engaged, and excited everyone was about AI and networking genuinely lit a fire in me. It reminded me exactly why we created AI Mastermind in the first place: to bring people together, learn from each other, and figure out how we can actually make the most of this transformation.
