I absolutely adored The Knight & The Moth so I was super excited to read The Knave & The Moon. I instantly loved being back in this unique world, the characters, the writing, I love it all. I didn’t love book two as much as the first book, but I am very happy with how everything was wrapped up. I definitely recommend, Bartholomew!

Another cozy fantasy by Sarah Beth Durst finished and this is my least favorite one of the Spellshop series but I still enjoyed it.

The FMC was a bit insufferable for me. 😅SUPER stubborn and she didn’t really have very much character growth by the end.

I still give it 4 stars ⭐️! There was a lot of neat crossover from the other books in the Spellshop series that was fun to read and I loved the side characters.

There are some that books stay with you for a while and this is one of those for me. It’s a beautiful story and the writing is both dreamy and heartbreaking. 5 stars all around.

So happy I grabbed this stunning edition from @allurialbooks !!

Happy 9 years to US! It’s amazing finding your very own MMC and I’m so happy I found mine. 💙

Michael started reading again last year and hasn’t stopped since. It’s been the best time ever sharing our love of books together.

📚 Dark Age (deep emotional trauma but also a banger of a read)

📚 City of Heavenly Fire (such a good series!!)

I adore anything from Sarah Beth Durst, she is the queen of cozy fantasy. The Faraway Inn is cute, cozy and a great book to get comfy with. It is YA, which for sure shines through but it did not stop me from enjoying this whimsical read.

2026 has been an ahhhmazing year of books for me. So many bangers, a few duds but overall, I’m having a blast with my reads this year.

My faves: ALL the Red Rising books, Rites of the Starling, Project Hail Mary, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Hidden Magic of Ordinary Things and Wild Reverence

Least faves: Fury Bound (fell flat for me) What the River Knows (the river has left the chat and doesn’t know shit) and Starlight Antiques (it was cute & light but felt like the author was just trying to fill the pages)

I’m looking forward to Light Bringer, diving into the world of Robin Hobb and so much more.
