I loved it so much, I had to go back🇧🇸. And this time, with my incredible host family. This trip was back in February (I tend to procrastinate and forgot to post these). I felt it was only right to do it now, because I’ve been with my host family for a year now. It’s such a blessing to meet people who truly care about you and love you and I found that with my host family. I’m so grateful to have met them and that they’re in my life. The Lords hand has been so evident in this match, He knew this was where I had to be. With this beautiful family. I’ve seen so many things, met so many amazing people and it wouldn’t have been possible without them. I’m so thankful to spend another year learning, growing and having endless fun with them!❤️ by @aimeeesben

April 14, 2025. A year ago today, I took the biggest leap of faith and my life changed completely. I moved across the world and it has changed so many aspects of my life. I learned a lot about sacrifice, independence and I learned a lot about myself. One being that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The person I was a year ago couldn’t fathom the idea of change and now, I welcome it with open arms. My journey started with months of preparation, saying the most difficult goodbyes to my loved ones, followed by a long 16 hour flight and spending my first 3 days in New York. I remember feeling like I was in a dream or transported in a movie while walking in Times Square and just cried knowing I was actually there. I’m still in awe after a year. I’m so incredibly grateful for my life here and the people I’ve met along the way, especially my host family. I’m also so grateful that the Lord has been by my side through it all. I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store!🇺🇸❤️ by @aimeeesben
