Ok, time for an introduction because I’m going to start sharing more content on here of my work and all the wonderful people I get to work with!

I’ve been doing hair for almost 15 years, which feels so crazy to say out loud. So much has changed over that time…my work, my style, my clients, and me…but one thing that hasn’t changed is how much I genuinely love what I do.

I LOVE getting to be creative every day. I love the transformations, the little details, the before & afters… but honestly, one of my favorite parts of doing hair has always been the people.

The client/stylist relationship is such a unique one. You get to know people through so many different seasons of their lives. I’ve watched clients graduate, get married and have babies. I’ve also mourned with people as they navigate the many difficulties of life. We talk, catch up, laugh, vent, cry, celebrate, and sometimes just hang out in silence together for a few hours. 😂

I don’t take one single moment for granted. After all these years, I still feel really lucky that this is my job, that I get to make people feel good and hear their stories while also getting to create something beautiful with my hands. That was always my motivation from the very beginning.

So I’m going to start sharing more of the process, the behind-the-scenes, the transformations, the silly goose moments (and there are many) and everything in between.

Still can’t believe a few good friends and I actually pulled off the 1st annual Newport TRY TRI 2026!!! 🏊‍♀️🚲🏃‍♀️

A few months ago, @mariahbrinkphoto and I had the idea to host a race that felt approachable, something anyone and everyone could be a part of, and this weekend we got to watch that little idea come to life :’)

So many wonderful people showed up to race, volunteer, cheer, help, and just make the whole day SO much fun. It was truly one of those days that makes you feel really lucky to be surrounded by such good community.

Huge shoutout to @allygarvin @mariahbrinkphoto and @keypearson for being the best friends and co-hosts a girl could ask for!!

And to everyone who helped make this happen — I know I’ve already said it, but you know who you are and THANK YOU. We couldn’t have done it without you. 🫶

I needed a cut like I need water and couldn’t for the life of me decide what to do

thought about a French bob, a mid-length cut, maybe growing out the fringe…

but after a long (and fun) consult we landed on keeping the length but removing dry ends, adding some much needed layers and texturing my fringe so it’ll grow out nicely if that’s what I decide to do down the road

it’s always an experience getting your own hair done as a hairdresser lol (or having a hairdresser in my chair) but I loooove how we can nerd out and talk technically about what we want to see and create :)

didn’t get to film every step of the process, but making sourdough (specifically the @crustbycarson recipe) has become a really cathartic rhythm for me and has ignited the creative side of me in a new way which has been so fun!
