Some places never leave you.

As a young girl, I lived in the gatekeeper’s cottage at Duneira, a historic old hill station atop Mount Macedon. In late winter, the long driveway became a sea of bluebells—a sight of rare beauty that has stayed with me ever since.

Returning to photograph this enchanting place for a book I’m so honoured to be part of feels wonderfully full circle.

This is where my love of beauty and nature first began.

My heartfelt thanks to @jennyroseinnes, whose vision and dedication brought this beautiful and inspiring book to life, to @abbie_melle for capturing it so skillfully ,and to everyone at @duneiraestate for welcoming me back to such a special place.

Some of my first pieces I ever created were flower crowns. Not simply adornments - but offerings.

Tiny rituals woven by hand.
A way to invite beauty, softness, wildness and magic back into our celebrations.

Looking back at them now I can still feel the intention worked into every flower.
The beginning of something much larger….x

I am so grateful to have them captured so beautifully by @abbie_melle and @jennyroseinnes the day they came to photograph for Jenny’s beautiful new book ‘The Nature of Decorating’ . by @aimeepradel

I feel so honoured to be featured in The Nature of Decorating alongside such talented and inspiring artists and nature lovers.
Thank you @jennyroseinnes for creating such a thoughtful and meaningful book, and @abbie_melle for capturing all the beauty with such skill and care.
I am so grateful to be included in a book that celebrates our connection to nature and the quiet magic it brings into our homes✨

I had the great pleasure of doing something very challenging for me this week… I gave a 45 min presentation about myself and the creative journey to the lovely members of The Alexandra Club.. I had no idea how much fear it would bring up inside me but I enjoyed it so much and am so grateful to have done a hard thing this week♥️ … thankyou to all the gorgeous women who were there -especially to the wonderful Sarah Thompson xx
