My last post on instagram was of me with Claire holding our Hamilton themed sign during the Nysna nursing strike. Today we had the opportunity to see Hamilton together on Broadway. By some miracle we won the ham4ham lottery! The show did not disappoint! @hamiltonmusical #hamiltonmusical by @aimsfd

Day 8 of the nurses strike. It’s been a cold but inspiring week. Today I was able to bring Claire to the picket lines and show her what it means to be a part of a group that fights for what they believe in . Fighting for a fair contract and for their patients here in the Bronx community. She has become a fan of Hamilton recently which tells the story of someone who fought fiercely and passionately for what he believed in and his community as we are doing here now in NYC. Hoping for this fight to end sooner than later! We want to go back to taking care of our patients! @nynurses @beckycrespi @nycnursesonstrike @lin_manuel @hamiltonmusical taken in Montefiore Medical Center by @aimsfd

When you think spirit day for school is ‘dress like your parents do for work’ and spirit day is actually ‘dress like your parents when they were kids’ . . It’s been a long week! #dowdcrew by @aimsfd
