Great weekend trip with the fellas to the Ozarks for Cody’s bachelor party.

I haven’t swam in 5+ years…… just confirmed over the weekend that I still hate swimming.

Old Kinderhook was the most beautiful golf course I’ve been to. If you like golf and get the chance, I highly recommend this place.

I’ve gotten pretty good at putting my feelings on the back burner.

Life happens, things hurt, and I’ve always found a way to keep moving forward. I tell myself there are things that need to get done, people depending on me, and life isn’t going to stop just because I’m hurting.

But this one is different.

Losing you doesn’t feel like losing a pet. It feels like losing a family member. A presence that has been part of our home, our routines, our memories, and our lives for so long is suddenly gone. And I don’t think I was prepared for how empty that would feel.

Grief is strange because one moment I can feel okay, and the next something small reminds me that you’re not here anymore. I look at the place where you used to lay. I catch myself expecting to see you. And then reality hits all over again.

Normally, this is the part where I would bury those feelings and keep going. But I don’t want to do that this time.

I want to allow myself to miss you. To be sad. To remember all the years we were lucky enough to have you and recognize that this pain only exists because you meant so much to us.

You weren’t “just a dog.” You were family. You grew older alongside us, shared a piece of our lives that can never be recreated, and gave us a kind of love that asked for almost nothing in return.

I wish we could have had more time. I wish I could walk into the room and see you laying there one more time. But I’m grateful that for the time you were here, you were ours.

I spend so much of my life telling myself to keep moving forward. And eventually I will.

But today, I’m going to let this one hurt.

Rest peacefully, buddy. Thank you for being part of our family. You were loved more than you could ever understand, and you’ll be missed more than words can explain. ❤️ taken in Maryland Heights, Missouri by @aimsterd7

Summer 2025

This post is mainly for me. Something to look back on and enjoy. This summer turned out to be something I never expected — and it ended up being one of the best chapters of my life.

For most of my 20s, my summers were spent working nonstop, trying to build myself back up and make a living. Vacations and time off were rare, and honestly, I never felt like I was missing anything because that was just my normal routine.

I’ve never really been the type to go out of my way to make new friends either. I’ve always considered myself an introvert, though I can be an extrovert around the right people. And this summer, I found those people.

Meeting all of you changed my perspective completely. From the culture, the food, the style, to the slang — none of it had to be taught because the connection was instant. It felt natural, and it felt like home.

I’ll never forget the moments we shared — especially with the girls that I secretly called “my 3 princesses” 😂 — and of course, with EQ, Mukk, Karn, Focus, Livia, and Mr. Banky. In just a few short months, we made memories I’ll carry for a lifetime, and I walked away with friendships I know will last forever.

Thank you for accepting me for who I am, for bringing so much joy into my life, and for making this summer one I’ll never forget. I can’t wait for the day I get to visit you all in Thailand.

These past 2.5 months have been unforgettable. I never expected to grow so close to such an amazing group of people in such a short time.

As your time here in the U.S. comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to share some memories before you all head home to Thailand. Will I miss you? Absolutely. Will we stay in touch? I truly hope so.

Thank you all for bringing so much joy, laughter, and adventure into my life. I wish each of you nothing but success as you chase your dreams, explore the world, and write the next chapters of your journey. And hey—don’t forget about me 😂 I’d love to visit you someday.

I hope I made your time in St. Louis even a little bit better, the way you’ve made such a big impact on mine.
