Commencement 2025, PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. Grateful to have celebrated this day with people who have been there for me throughout the tedious journey- my parents, @shubhashree_pani, my friends and labmates, Tyler.

21st April 2025: after 5 years and 4 months in the lab, I have finally PhinisheD! I successfully defended my PhD work titled "Heterogeneity in photoreceptor signalling in the primate retina and human retinal organoids". I'm incredibly thankful to my mentor Dr. Raunak Sinha for his immense support throughout these past 5+ years, my parents who were able to be there on this special day of my life, my amazing labmates and friends. I'm also excited about the next phase of life - I'm going to start a post doctoral fellowship in Dr. David Ginty's lab at Department of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School from July 2025.

P.S. bonus points if you can identify all my work and personality traits from my graduation cap.

Serendipitously, we discovered the same board game cafe independently. I guess that's just another rainy day in THE city!
