We had to have a REAL conversation with ourselves about how vulnerable we were getting with our music and facing the challenge of sharing that vulnerability. What came out of it was two women sure of themselves that recognized the gift they had to hold crucial space through music. Praise God. We see the wonderful messages of those who can relate and appreciate us giving you the words to express yourselves thru song. While you share thankfulness for us, please know we hold so much gratitude for you all as well💓 We’re gonna grow through this journey together! Stream Heavy Guarded Heart the Album and watch the music videos we’ve released for this project, SO FAR 😉😉😉 the song here is Heavy Guarded Heart

FORGIVE US! 😭 We don’t wanna keep leaving y’all hanging, but trust us… the wait is worth it! 🌟 Before we share more about the theme song we made for this TV show-to-be, let’s first tap in and hear more about what this incredible indie animation is all about.

Layla and The Starship Afrotopia is INCREDIBLE. 🌟🚀 Some would even say “out of this world” 👀😂 The story, the visuals, the whole vibe… yeah, we’re tapped in. 💗💜

Go check out @starshipafrotopia , follow the creators, and show some love to indie animation. 🌟💜🩷 by @aint.afraid

Yall ready for this diary page? #HardToBelieve drops Friday 😩 The realization of this song is that the cycle didn’t end because I chose to step away but because you did. Not because you wanted to leave but because you didn’t want to show up for me like you promised. Once I finally asked you to step up and hold your end of this, you decided the situation no longer served you. The sad reality for me is realizing the situation never served me. And to think I wasn’t the one to walk away is shocking which made this heartbreak even more crushing. It’s scary… and looking back on it now , I made it too comfortable for you to give nothing while I gave everything. So when I asked you to step up to fulfill your false promises, it’s because I gave so much I had nothing left. Nothing! I needed to see what you were willing to do for me, for us. You showed me the only thing you could do for us, was leave… heartbreaking yes - but I needed these moments, so that I’d never be that woman again.
