there's only one way. and it's this one.. I'm not a business, I'm not a thing, I'm a person. There's a way in which life is lived and it's "living." These days I've been flowing in different spaces where ever the spirit leads me. I know this isn't what the algorithm wants, or what people care about... just another swipe... another AD.... another...... "thing." I'm grateful to be here. after almost 10 years... @airbnb is increasing their service fees on host from 3% to 15.5% a staggering 12.5% that is putting us all at a breaking point. 1000 guest later and a whole lot of joy and laughter this might be the end of the rainbow bridge. from welcoming people to my home as modeled after the original concept of airbnb there has been a lot of heaven on earth. it all started with roommate uncertainty, questionable times, lockdown, shutdown, smiles, full dinner tables, dancing, karaoke, deep conversations and overall good vibes. this is what hosting looks like. there's a quote I have written on my wall: "the sharing of things." β€” allow yourself to give even when you can't, bring joy and foster it, listen even when it's hard. this is holding space, this is creating space and giving space to others who need it most feels like. #airbnb #jjyapchallenge #home #love #givingback taken in Hermosa Beach, California by @air_______in
