This time last week we had a truly magical wedding in Airdit Woods. It was like something out of a fairy tale…

Back in what seems to be a lifetime ago, we ran a little events company that let us travel all over the place for work. The projects were amazing, the people we met were fantastic, but after a certain point we felt the need to put down some roots and try our hand at something that involved a little less travel.

When we became the custodians of the woods at Airdit, we knew that we had found a place that not only looked magical but felt special; a place to connect with nature and slow down a little. We endeavoured to create a space where rest and recuperation could go hand in hand, whilst you soak your worries away in a bath beneath the stars.

Thank you to everyone (apart from maybe a couple!) who have visited us so far. Without those who choose to stay in the treehouse, visit with their campervan, propose or even get married at Airdit - we wouldn’t be able to keep pouring our energy and hard graft into these woods, so that it can be enjoyed by not only guests in the coming months, but by guests for many years to come.

The northern lights were impressive an hour ago, but not hugely clear with the naked eye, but now they are most definitely dancing brightly 🙌🏼. I could watch them for hours…apart from the fact my fingers are freezing! Night night x

There’s something about Autumn that allows us to slow down a little to recharge the batteries after a busy summer. One of the most common things guests tell us is how Bracken Treehouse finally gave them chance to truly switch off. It won’t be the last time we hear “we had plans to go visit so many places, but we were so chilled here that we didn’t leave once.”
