This past summer, our cement roller was rolling out some one-of-a-kind prints!

Our team inked each hand-carved block by hand, carefully rolled the paper down over the top, and then let a three-ton cement roller do the rest, right on the street in Issaquah.

These prints are now up for auction! Each one is truly one of a kind, and every bid helps make next summer’s Aire Craft possible. 💛

Eyes in the Sky by Mary Ehrlicher, 2026

Created in partnership with Urban ArtWorks, Culture Tug, Gibson Ek High School and the community to celebrate the inaugural AireCraft Festival.

Eyes in the Sky is an exuberant celebration of Issaquah, imagination, and possibility. Inspired by the celebration of flight, performance, and transformation of public space, the mural brings together the familiar and the unexpected as salmon take flight, tightrope walkers cross the landscape, and local flora and fauna merge with whimsical surprises.

Students at the nearby Gibson Ek High School contributed ideas that were incorporated into the final composition, including Washington’s state bird, the American goldfinch, and the idea of artwork emerging from the infrastructure, brought to life through plumes of color. At the center, a quote from Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin encourages viewers to dream beyond perceived limits and even take a moment to look up, into the sky, and wonder. by @airecraftfest

What more to say than thank you? After more than a year and a half of work it is completely surreal to be on the other side of our first year of Aire Craft Festival.

In addition to our 15 person production crew, more than 80 volunteers, and over 130 artists came together to make magic together over the course of these four days. To say that our hearts are happy and our bucket is full, is an understatement. We are in awe.

We are in awe of what we can achieve together when we dream big and create space for creativity.

To everyone who was involved in planning, to our partners, sponsors, artists, and to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities, Thank you!

We would love to hear from you!! Please consider taking a moment to share your feedback by taking our online survey.

Thank you @culturetug_pnw and @clown_garage for hosting @airecraftfest at @dt_issaquah for the very first time. Our lens captured some memorable moments brought to us by the fine performers and we would like to share with everyone to revisit the joy.

What a weekend at the Issaquah AIRE CRAFT Festival!

Our fly team loaded up and brought the excitement of flying trapeze outdoors, setting up our full-size rig at the festival for a weekend filled with performances, first flights, glitter, and plenty of smiles.

Throughout the festival, our teams took to the sky for three professional flying trapeze shows and four advanced student performances. We also celebrated an especially exciting milestone as our Youth Flying Trapeze Team performed for an audience for the very first time!

Our rig was also open for pay-per-flight opportunities throughout the festival. By the end of the weekend, 148 festival attendees had taken a flight!

From experienced flyers soaring through the air to people climbing the ladder and grabbing the trapeze bar for the first time, it was wonderful to see so many people experiencing the excitement of flying trapeze.

Thank you to everyone who came out to watch a show, cheer on our performers, or take a flight with us. And a huge congratulations to all of our professional, advanced student, and youth performers who helped make the weekend such a memorable one!

Mark your calendars and reserve your tickets for The Trapeze Soirée on August 29th! by @airecraftfest
