A new era of nightlife took shape in Edgewater over the weekend as @airemiami officially opened its doors at the former @bohoedgewatermiami address. ✨

Located at 111 NE 20th Street, AIRE debuted with an open-air nightlife experience centered around deep, soulful house and electronic music. The opening weekend featured @gabrhome and legendary DJ @djstevelawler, who brought his Pendulum party to the venue on Saturday night.

Led by Jorge Moreno alongside nightlife veteran @louisjpuig, @aramislorie, Travis Rogers and John Fortini, AIRE introduces a new bar, repositioned DJ booth, updated menu and refreshed aesthetic while maintaining the open-air character of the space.

@louisjpuig’s five-decade journey through Miami nightlife has been defined by risk-taking, reinvention, and a commitment to creating culture rather than simply operating clubs.

From his first nightclub gig at 16 to building @clubspace into one of Miami’s most influential nightlife institutions, Puig reflects on the experiences that shaped his approach to hospitality and entertainment. “I want to create,” he says, emphasizing the importance of identity, consistency, and evolving without losing a venue’s core intention.

Now, as he transforms @bohoedgewatermiami into @airemiami, Puig is applying lessons learned across 50 years in nightlife to a new open-air concept centered on atmosphere, music, service, and a distinct sense of place.

For Puig, the goal has never been simply to build successful venues, but to create spaces where people make lasting memories. “I think of myself as a creative person who hasn’t run out of things he wants to create,” he says.

With AIRE, he hopes to continue that legacy by bringing people together through music, energy, and shared experiences—ultimately creating a place that, like Space, becomes part of Miami’s cultural fabric.
