Finished a beautiful weekend at Lake Traunsee 🇦🇹 for @traunseewoche_lakeventure the last pump foil stop of @surffoilworldtour 2026!

Time trials started good, but messed up my first two eliminations. Luckily finished the last two races with in second. So ended up overall on P2🥈🫶

Big shoutout to @sbutterfly and @caro_pumpfoilt for raising the level of pumpfoiling to have three girls with the same amouts of point fighting for place 2,3,4.

Congratulations to the world pumpfoil champion @marniebertram ❤️ and vice champion @sbutterfly 🩵

So inspiring to share the water time with all the girls!!

It was such a good organized event with great food, people and those after-competition wake sessions 🫶

How many foilers you think were in the wake? And can you spot me? ;)

P5 World championship in Istanbul 🇹🇷
A challenging and very special World Championship with gusty and shifty conditions.
I was happy to stay in the top 3 throughout the event and see that I had everything I needed to fight at the front. A few technical mistakes cost me in some races, but I managed to hold 3rd place going into the Medal Race.

Unfortunately, the Medal Race didn’t go as planned. During my regular starboard start, I had a collision with Yana Lee, who was starting on port. The collision caused me to crash and I was unable to continue the race. The jury gave her a DSQ, but I was given no opportunity to recover from the incident. It was difficult to see all the effort from the whole week disappear in one race, right from the start.

This type of Medal Race is very important because one mistake can completely change your final position, even when it’s not your fault. It’s disappointing because the final day doesn’t always reflect everything you have worked for throughout the week.

Mixed feelings after this event, but I’m taking a lot from it. I know I have the potential to fight at the front, and now it’s back to work, training and improving. 💪🏽🌊

🇹🇷 World Championships – Istanbul 🇹🇷

P6 at the Formula Wingfoil World Championships 🤍 @wingfoilracing

Light, shifty winds and difficult conditions made consistency incredibly challenging. After sitting in 5th bevor the medal series, I narrowly missed the Top 5, but I’m taking home valuable experience and plenty to build on.

This week also highlighted something important: I believe the Medal Series format should be reviewed. Athletes who perform consistently over several days shouldn’t lose their entire championship because of situations out of their control. Hopefully we can continue improving the format as our sport grows.

Huge congratulations to my @vayu.world teammate Vaina on becoming World Champion! 🏆💛
