The Air Max Plus TN 8 is extremely rare these days. It's one of those shoes that hasn't made a huge impact on the Tuned scene and is often overlooked. It's highly underappreciated and deserves a lot more attention! This particular pair was the only leather version to release. The condition is great, there's just some slight cracking to the leather as pictured and some of the reflective strips on the tongues are damaged but it's hardly noticable. TN collectors - these ones are for you.

The Air Max 97’s first collaboration was in 2004 with “True” which resulted in this incredible shoe - Baroque Brown. The premium suede materials, the classy shades of brown both paired with the sleekness of the Air Max 97 silhouette. This pair is a well deserved classic and there's not many pairs floating around these days!

A grail for many Air Max 98 fanatics. This is probably one of the rarest shoes we've had on the page. These just don't crop up anymore. This is the Air Max 98 Footaction Exclusive, released in 2000 and limited to Footaction stores only. Big chance here to own a rare and niche part of the Air Max 98's timeline.

The Air Max Majikan 2. A lot of you will be familiar with the first Majikan from 2002 but this pair differs quite a bit. This second Majikan released in 2003, the same year that another running shoe called the Air Max Vista (1) released. The Vista was essentially the exact same model as this one but without visible air units at the forefront. We're not entirely sure why Nike decided to do this, possibly a cheaper alternative.

A combination of breathable mesh and reflective welds kept the Majikan 2 cool and visible for runners on the roads, although Nike did release a few perforated leather versions as well. The waffle fill outsole in the forefoot ensured long lasting traction and one important quality that was kept from the original Majikan was the huge blow moulded air unit at the rear providing that much desired cushioning. What are your thoughts on the Majikan models? Do they deserve a return?⁣

The Air Tuned Sirocco is one that gets a lot of attention when it comes out of the woodwork, and for good reason - it's a beauty. There were two versions of the Sirocco from 1999, this one featured an upper of suede mixed with TPU overlays, Tuned Air in the heel and Max Air in the forefoot. An array of intricate detail, premium materials and a satisfying amount of swooshes throughout makes the Sirocco a stand out silhouette.

Back again with another pair of these beauties. This time, a rather rare colourway that we've not seen very often at all. Ride, durability and comfort were the main aims with the TL 2.5. The shoe has fluctuated in popularity recently and was even granted a re-release through the recent Comme Des Garçons collaboration which was an interesting take, but lacked some of the fundamental 2.5 details like the large side swoosh. This mesh pair hasn't had much wear and it's very difficult to come by conditions like this these days. The original box will also be included.

We return to a Tailwind model that I think has been extremely underappreciated over the years, the 'Tailwind 2008 V2'. This shoe holds its place towards the latter end of Tailwind Evolution and didn't differ too much from the V1 as Nike applied the same Tailwind IV midsole, the same Max Air unit and essentially just redesigned the upper. It offered the same open and breathable mesh as well as overlay supports to enhance the overall fit of the shoe. Not a model you see very often at all and this colourway is particularly special.

This shoe is ridiculously good. It was released in 2007, a pretty strong year for Air Max, and delving in to the roots of 2003 was the 'Air Max GG'. It was clearly heavily influenced by the Air Max 97, but Nike actually equiped these with the 'Air Max 2003's' thermoplastic midsole and slightly altered (seamless) full length Air Unit as well as using the 2003's honeycombe-like outsole. There's no noticeable faults on these either.

This shoe makes its debut on the page today. It took a while to track down the ID but we got there! This is the 'Air Max Driven', a Cross Training shoe released in 2002 engineered for quality cushioning and performance. It released alongside some other wild Cross Training models such as the Shox XT Plus, the Air Shiver and the Air Compete which has been on the page before. With such a variety of Cross Training models created and released by Nike in the early 2000s it begs the question as to whether we'll see any return one day...

This is another shoe that we think would do well if Nike brought them back again. The Tailwind V+ has been released in many different forms over the years since it's original release in 1999/2000. We've had leather versions, premium pairs with detailed stitching weaved through the uppers, some really nice 3M reflective paneled pairs and in 2021, a fusion of the Tailwind V and V+ through Skepta's influence, just to name a few. This one from 2008 has a nice suede finish throughout. Who'd be keen for this model to return?

The Nike Air Max 97 is one of the most recognized shoes ever made. However, most are unaware that there were slip-on, laceless versions released in 2001. Nike seemed to have a brain wave with this type of concept as they also released zip-up Air Max 95s and a couple of slip-on Air Max Plus TN1s too. The Air Max 97 (S) slip-on saw a few colourways drop from this olive green to a dark navy and also a silver women's colourway. The transparent gum outsole with the encased large swoosh at the forefront is a lovely touch and it's always pretty cool to see the PSI numbers present which is a thing of the past now.

The Air Max TL 4 is severely underrated in our opinion. The holographic moving panel at the heel and rear sides of the shoe is not something you see on shoes very often. Frequently left in the shadow of the TL 2.5, the TL 4 also released in leather versions as well as 2 premium SL pairs with extra 3M detailing. The TL 4 featured the same midsole and outsole as the TL2.5 and the TL3 before being scrapped and recrafted for the TL5 a couple of years later.
