The home I’ve been dreaming of…

For years I’d drive by this home and always tell myself one day I would photograph it.

Then I got the call a few weeks ago I’d be shooting an ultra modern palace near downtown Santa Fe. One that was like my previous favorite home on steroids.

It wasn’t until the day before the shoot when I entered the address & drove by I realized it was that one I’d been dreaming of. Chills when I walked through the door.

The Venetian plaster, ultra modern design, the infinity pool, meant 2 days of shooting with my team, and I still feel like I didn’t get everything. 🥲

So I’m overflowing with gratitude to @maryguzmansantafe & @reagannickelson for the opportunity to capture this masterpiece. An absolute honor. And thank you to @suzannesakelaris for your graciousness and hospitality allowing 4 of us to run around the home for 2 days. 😁

The way Resplendence holds the sunset — the reflecting pool, the oculus, the long timber lines — it’s why I do this.

It started with the night sky.

A camera at 15. Hong Kong sharpened my eye. Architecture stole my heart, and I brought it all home to Santa Fe, four generations deep.

Now Juan and I chase light from the high desert to Gramercy Park, one home at a time.

We’re just getting started.

Every home has a story. Let’s tell yours. 🎞️

ZEN | THE FILM

Some homes are best understood not in a single image, but in the way you move through them.

Welcome to Zen.

Set within The Estancias at Las Campanas, this contemporary residence is shaped by balance, restraint and a deep connection to the high-desert landscape.

Expansive glass frames the ever-changing Santa Fe sky. Natural materials bring warmth to clean architectural lines. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow together, creating moments that feel both expansive and deeply private.

Subtle Japanese and Asian influences can be felt throughout—not as a theme, but as a philosophy of simplicity, proportion and connection to nature.

Outdoors, Japanese-style soaking tubs and airy open-air showers turn bathing into a quiet ritual beneath the New Mexico sky.

Light. Water. Landscape. Architecture.

Each element considered.
Each space given room to breathe.

This is Zen.

There are spaces designed for function—and spaces designed to make you slow down.

At Zen, Japanese influence is expressed through restraint, simplicity and a quiet connection to nature.

The Japanese-style soaking tubs embody that philosophy. Deeper than a traditional bath, they are designed for immersion and stillness—a simple ritual that transforms the everyday into something restorative.

Alongside them, open-air showers bring that ritual even closer to the landscape, creating an experience shaped by fresh air, natural light and the expansive New Mexico sky.

Surrounded by natural materials, clean architectural lines and carefully framed views, these outdoor spaces offer privacy without losing their connection to the high desert. Water and landscape become part of the architecture—and part of the experience.

Nothing feels excessive. Nothing competes for attention.

Instead, the architecture creates room to pause.

A moment of warmth.
A moment of fresh air.
A moment of quiet.
A moment to simply be.

Zen.

COMING SOON | ZEN

A home designed not simply to be seen, but to be felt.

Calm.
Still.
Balanced.

Set within The Estancias at Las Campanas, our newest portfolio, Zen, explores what happens when architecture, material and light are given room to breathe.

Walls of glass frame the high-desert landscape. A quiet palette brings warmth without distraction. And throughout the home, every detail was considered with intention.

Here, the architecture frames the art — landscape, light, shadow and sky.
