legitimately some of the favorite shots i've captured so far since i started photography 9 months ago, spent half the night trying to get better at this shutter drag technique and am so happy with what i've got so far!

So i got this camera in Sept, and started more seriously delving into photography. I like to pick up new stuff when I'm in low moods, it's a productive coping method i guess.

Did 3 months then took a 3 months break, then restarted shooting again. Can see when I got warmed up by the 3rd month, then rusty when i resumed haha.

The compositional skills from directing for film and videography in the past definitely helped a lot, so I can't say that I was starting from zero.

What I had to and still have to work on was understanding the technical aspects of operating a camera which I didn't have to do when directing, as well as getting a better understanding of lighting, colors, mood and tone which was my main goal starting photography in the first place.

Which will all be incredibly useful competences to cross-pollinate back into my directing.

Anyways, follow my future photography works here at airyworldvisuals. For work inquiries, I do freelance gigs for events and portraiture ad hoc. And for friends, if you wanna do fun collab shoots do feel free to hit me up too!

Was mainly requested to capture bts of the emcees, but since I was there, just helped to take some of the rest of the event as well. Here's the B&W half, will post the coloured shots in a separate post.

So surreal to be editing this when the space no longer exists, am so glad there are so much photos and videos of the space on IG ❤️❤️ taken in Sandbox Training Ground by @airyworldvisuals
