just to clear up any confusion, this wasn’t a new injury. this was my pre-planned Stage 2 ACL revision surgery. six months ago, I underwent bone grafting and meniscus root repair as Stage 1. this surgery was always part of the plan. now, the real work begins again.

the hardest part isn’t the surgery. it’s believing that all the rehab, patience, and small wins will be worth it

kita dah kenal since 2005. masa tu rambut kau pun masih hitam pekat lagi Fiz.

i still remember we did our first long trip on the B737, 4 days trip to kuching. i was still so fresh in the airline, a little nervous, trying to figure everything out. then…….you cracked your silly jokes and the friendship just bonded naturally. kalau aku korek komputer lama, memang boleh jumpa gambar gambar lama kita masa masih muda.

back then, tak ramai crew yang aktif running. we were among the few. selalu update each other pasal races and mengadu cuti yang tak approve lagi. even after I left the airline, we never lost touch. we still ran together whenever we could.

for the past one year, I’ve watched you fight one of the toughest battles anyone could ever face. it broke my heart to see your health slowly deteriorate, but you kept fighting. you kept making everyone around you feel happy. you even finished a marathon while you were still undergoing a treatment.

despite being so sick yourself, you never stopped being a son. you still took care of your sick parents. that kind of strength, love, and sense of responsibility is something I will always admire.

you’ve touched countless lives. now you’ve finally found your peace…… but what touches me the most is seeing thousands of people making heartfelt dua for you... I don’t think everyone is blessed with a beautiful farewell like this. memang aku cemburu, tapi ini memang rezeki kau Fiz. Alhamdulillah

thank you for the friendship, the flights, the runs, the jokes, the laughter and the memories. aku akan rindu dengan cerita cerita lawak kau.

semoga Allah SWT mengampunkan segala dosa, melapangkan kubur, menerima segala amal baik dan menempatkan kau di syurga Firdaus.

sorry saya masih beraya 💛💛

i dont think my raya is complete until I joget to @aisharetno02 #jodohlebaran. my doctor said no running and no jumping, but didn’t say no joget. aside from ropeflow and light workouts at the gym, dancing is also my coping mechanism while im still in my long recovery. ❤️‍🩹 so please expect more dancing from me soon. 🤪🤪 by @aisha.lompat
