Someone just turned texting into a bizarre trip back in time. 🐦📱

Noah Iarrobino created Carrier Pidge, an iOS messaging app that replaces instant texts with virtual carrier pigeons.

Instead of delivering messages instantly, each pigeon flies at roughly 110 mph, with the delivery time calculated using the actual GPS distance between the two users.

Messages sent nearby could arrive within seconds, while long-distance deliveries might take hours or even days.
And there’s an unexpected twist: every flight has a 0.2% chance of the pigeon getting lost and dying before reaching its destination. If the pigeon never arrives, the message doesn’t either. 💀🐦

Users can watch their pigeon travel across a live map, collect different birds, and keep their conversations inside a virtual “aviary.”

Iarrobino reportedly built the app in around three weeks as a deliberately inconvenient and playful alternative to instant messaging.

The film industry is not ready for what AI can do.

The famous police lineup scene from The Usual Suspects (1995) has been recreated with five of Hollywood’s biggest action stars: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Wesley Snipes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Chuck Norris.

The result looks like a scene from an action movie that never existed. This would have been stupidly expensive to make with the real actors.

And that’s what makes this so interesting. Getting five of Hollywood’s biggest action stars together for a scene like this would have once required a huge budget, contracts, scheduling, and an entire production crew.

A humanoid robot demo turned into an unexpected moment during an October 7 livestream with Colombian streamer Westcol and musician Blessd. 🤖😳

During a programmed dance sequence, the robot struck Westcol on the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. In another moment captured during the same broadcast, the robot kicked a glass display so hard that it shattered.

According to reports, the robot wasn’t deliberately trying to hit anyone. It appeared to be following its programmed movements while Westcol was standing too close to its range of motion.
