If you missed it last time, we are back on the 18th as part of the Voila theatre festival!

COCOON is a physical theatre show blending movement and sound to create a whirlwind through the psyche (and bedroom) of a twenty-something battling with the impossibility of cleaning their room. Or fixing their life? Metaphor? Duh!

Come and join us on this journey!

MIND THE GAP | 2023

Some shots from my dissertation show back in April . Finally, I got the time and energy to share this. Looking back at these photos I'm just getting all the feels💞

To allow myself to get the hands on the wheel and take risks and try new things for this project was so empowering❤️‍🔥And oh my god, how fun was to direct this cast!! They allowed me to try and fail and play and explore. We just threw all the tools and knowledge we gathered during these three years and during life itself, and a bit more sugar and spice, and we mixed it all up in the culdrum. And magic magic, this was the result! I couldn't be prouder or happier!!

"teeny tiny fish in the worlds biggest pond" some cute pics from Jasmin Norris' dissertation. April 2023.

So greatful to have had the chance to work with these lovely people. And to participate and perform in this beautiful and intimate devised show. I can't wait for the time to put that mask on again and let the body and breath do the talking.

Some bits and bobs

And some unrelated quotes:

LUKE: Can you make chips out of bread?
ALEX: That's just breadsticks

JAC: I'm so sorry we're English

LUKE: I'm a massive mummy's boy!

FRANKIE: My womb begs to be filled

AITANA: Crabs are the base of theatre

ALEX: This place is cursed! It gave us all COVID, then it killed Meatloaf!

JAC: I would have shagged Joe Jonas. But as a six year old

LUKE: Worst case scenario, I die

JAC: I'll open up while you rub my cheeks

FRANKIE: Laughter is such a shame

AITANA: You can change the world AND have fun...not that I want to...

DUDLEY: Ugh, men...am I right sisters?

LUKE: Lord of the Rings is very gay taken in Divadlo Continuo by @aitanallp17

There's a breakage
Somewhere
I can't see it
But you touched it
And man, I don't mind it

There's a spill of venom
It's spreading
Get a bucket
Make space, for it,
for me

Wait, just forget it
I need to go
I'm floating
I don't know you
I'm a stranger
I don't know me

Do we care?
