Facioscapulohumeral dystrophy
(FSHD, Landouzy Dejerine disease)
is a hereditary muscle disease that initially mainly manifests itself in the muscles of the face (Facio), the shoulder blade (Scapulo) and the upper arm (Humerus).
Landouzy and Dejerine where two french doctors who discovered FSHD.

The order in which the symptoms occur varies per person. The disease usually starts in the facial muscles: the eyes do not close properly and the muscles around the mouth slacken. Later, the muscle strength in the shoulders and upper arms usually decreases.

But not with everybody, in my case my lower body has more muscle weakness then the upper and, contrary to what the medical sources say, it started with me with muscle weakness in the lower body.

The disease often then slowly increases in severity,
but this also varies per person.

The consequences of FSHD vary from very mild (barely noticeable) to quite serious, which may eventually require a wheelchair. by @aivd72
