POSTS STORIES REELS

I had never heard this song prior to rehearsal on this past Saturday.

"Manifest yourself" It made me sit with myself for a little while.

I said "Self?" Myself said "Hmm" (iykyk😆)

If I manifest myself and I believe that God is in me wouldn't I be putting out energy that is already created? If God made all, sees all, and knows my future wouldn't I just be pressing towards an idea that already exist? Why do I have choices if my story is already written?

..... still haven't drawn a concrete conclusion however, manifestation is heavy on my brain 🧠 by @aj_miles22

Meditating has become one of my favorite things to do.🧘🏾‍♂️

Journaling, is a close second. I wrote this year's ago and it resonates just as much as it did back then. Strength is always admirable however, we all have a point where silence becomes our weapon of choice.

I believe that sitting still and allowing peace to flow into you will only cause more self-awareness of what needs to be different in one's life. by @aj_miles22

I don't even know where to start when talking about the squad of musicians. I guess ill just start by saying that the chemistry we had was on point. 1 rehearsal was all it took 🔒

Played a few genres of music and let me tell you, these guys love their craft. It was a complete honor to play next to these gentlemen and create something special.🎵🎸🎹🥁

All of the vendors were top tier 👌🏾

They all brought a little something for everyone. My personal favorite was them dern cookies from @sweettemptationsbyco. That banana pudding cookie 🍪 😋.

Tap in with them and support your local community.

Charlotte has become a melting pot of different cultures and creativity, I love it but, I do not lik ethe traffic it comes with on I-77.😆😤

Getting dressed for this special night was absolutely amazing.✨

Gotta give props to mom dukes. She taught me a thing or two. 🤱🏾

Seeing my folks dressed and all snazzy was a site to see. Suits, ties, dresses... Makes me wonder why did we ever stop dressing like this. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Breaking free of your past is one of the dopest/scariest experiences ever. All trauma ain't the same.

One thing that helped me, THERAPY! Someone took the time to tell me that it's all on me, and it always will be. How can I expect some powerful entity (My Divine Creator) to help me if I first don't help myself.💯

I couldn't help myself until I became very uncomfortable. Then I got comfortable being uncomfortable 😣. Now I'm building another part of me that most will not like but, guess what, that's not my problem.

I've spent years living under a code and ethic that caused me to not like what I saw in the mirror. I began to work out, change my diet, and my spiritual habits. Now I have THE closes relationship that I've ever had with God🙌🏾

My work became easier once I began to live in MY truth. by @aj_miles22

The passing of anyone you care about makes you think about what really matters.

I spoke with a cousin recently and our conversation started out calm then it got concerning. Not just for each other but, for all of our people that we call bros. Some of us really aren't okay then, we try and shove work or "remaining busy" in the way of healing. That's unhealthy ASF!!!

If you know me then you know when you talk to me the first thing imma ask is "How are you really doing?" Not surprising that when I ask this question most tell me "What" they are doing not "How"😔

Mental health is more than important it's VITAL!!!!!!

Check on your peoples! Not on IG, not through text messages, pick up the phone and talk, hell go pull up on em!! Lift them up, hug them, touch them... You never know how a small gesture can change anyone's mental state. by @aj_miles22

This was a fun intro to learn. African tunes groove a lot but those tags and intros be something different.😵‍💫

I do love that I get to explore my sounds across so many genres of music but more importantly I love expressing my gift 🎁

Looking forward to October and stepping into new unique spaces🛸

Stay tuned!!! by @aj_miles22

Being in my own darkness is uncomfortable however, it's here where I meet the parts of me I want to change. Instead of fearing me I hold my hand and walk down a path of forgiveness and grace.

I discovered so many things being here and Im embracing the bull**** that I put myself through. I can't promise that I won't make more mistakes but I do is know that moving forward EVERY decision will be intentional and towards my higher self.

Double-header Sunday: handled two gigs in one day, moving from Charlotte to Greenville, NC. 🚗💨

Though it was an incredible vibe, the journey of a gigging musician is no walk in the park—it takes vigilance, focus, and keeping yourself grounded in faith and favor to stay progressive. 🦺🎯

Key takeaway: always take time to connect with your surroundings and grab that necessary "me time" to reset, recharge, and keep moving forward. 🌿✨🎵 by @aj_miles22

Almost a whole month later and I still remember this night.

The atmosphere was captivating. The people were enjoying and the music was floating. 🎶

This night at 88s was one I'll never forget😌
