let’s talk about new york…

this program reignited my spark for performing. it brought people into my life that reminded me that I can chase this dream in a real way. I haven’t felt connected to this part of me for a bit, but it feels so good to be back. and what an amazing city to spend our time in! I could ramble forever about this experience so I’ll just say to all the lovely people I met during our time there, I’m so lucky to have you in my life now and I miss you lots 🫶🏻 🩷 i now know what my next steps look like, and I get to thank New York 😘

I will be posting more pics as they come but what a crazy adventure this was!! Roadtrip took us to 7 states, 3 family reunions (unofficial but it felt like that), one wedding (congrats + happy 🍯 🌖🫶🏻), and sooo many fun cousin moments 💕(and corn. So. Much. Corn.😆)

More roadtrips on the horizon for me for sure!! Where to next 🧐😉

I’m going a bit out of my comfort zone here, but hey!

I have been given a really cool opportunity to participate in a 2-week summer intensive in New York City! I was accepted into AADA’s musical theater summer program a few weeks ago, and have been working my butt off to make the cash I need to get there.

Unfortunately being a teacher, summer means I’m out of my typical steady job, so I thought I’d reach out here and see if my community can help a girl out! I’ve saved $1500 myself, and I have another $1800 to go. I’ve been given an extension to get this turned in, and I have until the June 26th (just a week away!)

Performing as a career has been a passion of mine for a very long time, and I’m so excited to finally be in the place that I can start making big steps towards that goal. If you want to share or donate, it would mean the absolute world to me! I’ve started a GoFundMe (link on my story and FB), but if you want the $$ to go directly to me (no fees) I’ll share my Cashapp & Venmo as well.

I cannot believe you're off to college! I miss you already, but I'm so excited for you!! You worked so hard to get here and I can't wait to see what the future holds for you. You've grown into such a cool human!!

I started my 2022 with a rough ass break up, and a move away from my friends in LA. It's hard not to focus on all the crap that put me through. But it's easy to acknowledge the amount of growth I had through that. And, I got to do some amazing things I wouldn't have gotten a chance to do. I wanna say thank you too everyone that made this year a good one for me. Bring it on 2023 ♥️ #happynewyear by @aj_worden
