Where do I begin….🥹

The journey to 1800 hours was full of ups and downs. The ultimate rollercoaster! When I came home in September 2022, I was broken and I did NOT wanna be in Omaha. Little did I know I’d go on a journey to finding my true self again.

Starting Cosmetology School was always a dream of mine since I was little but I had to find my way back. Coming HOME was the biggest blessing in disguise. With all I had on my plate, I didn’t know how I was gonna do this….I just knew I would get it done by any means necessary. How can I homeschool all four of my kids, run a Braid business, and be a full-time student at the same time? All I know is if anybody could make it happen it was me.

January 25 will always be a special day for me. I officially celebrated AJBellaBeauty 4TH BUSINESS ANNIVERSARY, and now I can add that I am officially a @capitolbeautyschool GRADUATE👩🏾‍🎓💫🚀

To have my family and my children present was everything I needed and more. To each and everyone of you who took time out to hold space for me yesterday meant the world to me. And yeahhh, I cried 4 times lol….Thug tears, of course🤭😉 but I didn’t even ruin my makeup (Shoutout to my boos/classmates/Cosi babies @larissasbeautybar__ for slaying my face @mirrored_bytrin on the lashes ) To all the instructors, thank you for pushing me and teaching me how to really trust myself behind the chair. To my Cosi babies & “Mom Gang”, I love y’all for real! If you need me, yall know where to find me! I got your back!

After completion of their homeschool lessons, my kids can access their games. My Junie taught his siblings how to debug their tablets, the ps4, and our Xbox when he was 6 (he’ll be 11 in January)🙌🏾 I looooove my kids fr. They really know their mama🥺💙💖💙💙.

I absolutely love sharing my core childhood memories with them. I can’t wait to get another Sega Genesis for our household. I’ve been on the hunt for one and I can’t wait to acquire another it. I told them about stories of me and my cousin Ricky reading cheat codes out of magazines in the 90s. They got it so good now lol….all it takes is a YouTube video!
