I had to put my dog, Amy, down on Thursday. She had gotten sick a week before. lethargic bloody stool. No eating, vomiting up water. We thought it would pass. It didn’t. I thought I did something. It was a uterine infection. She died peacefully, her eyes stayed open. She went in my hands. A lot of things have been telling me to fuck off recently. my job, friends, hell even my wife. It gets hard to see the value of sticking around. of trying. i Know I am not perfect, far from it. I didn’t know how far from perfect I have been. Now, I wonder who I really am? I know who and what I want to be. But it feels impossible to get there. So, I am taking it as life clearing my work table. Throwing out everything I thought I needed to hold on to So I could make room to do the work. I hope that everyone gets that chance to clear and do real work and get to where they want to be. I hope that all these nos lead to some major yeses, for everyone. I miss what I lost. The person I helped built for 20+ yrs. seems all but gone. But now I can do things differently and make my actions match my words. Her name was Amy. She was an 8 yr old pug. She was a bully and made my chihuahua Dobby’s life a terror. But she had the softest ears. like velvet. She died with her head in my hand, eyes open wide. I hope she gets to play with my Frosty Across the rainbow bridge and love on my loved ones until I get there. by @ajbrabo

Hello Fello Feral PUNKS,
Phases is till looking for some principal players, so we will be conducting a casting call for this Friday April 17th, 2026 at Pangea Guild Hall in Redmond, OR. between 5-7pm, I have a Deck slide website to pitch Phases, I will attach the link. It has sides for the speaking parts in the website. Particularly looking for a gender non-conforming person 18-21 that can be the lead in this film

We also have been selected for consideration at a film fest for short film scripts and I have sought additional funding at the Unsolicited Script Short Film Fund. Please do not stop talking about this project. It speaks truth to power and is a total rebuke of the powerlessness they strive for. We the people are strong beyong measure. Lets show em. Spread the word. They can't stop the signal.

The struggle is real. It is a pretty lonely path one forges when decide to go after what they have dreamt about. But I have been fortunate to have an army of people who support me. Thank you for taking your time to watch. Please leave a like, a comment what is your favorite movie about creating something? Share, follow, visit the kickstarter in my bio. Lots are happening. I have secured shooting locations for the project which will not be shot guerilla style on a microbudget. I will not sit idly by and let others determine my fate any longer.
