“The Change” has been a project 3 years in the making. Though written as a feature film, I have been able to take a segment of the script - which encapsulates the main action and psychology of the feature script - and put it into a short film.

This is what is called a “proof of concept” short film, which will be used to generate interest for financing of the full feature film script. It is with great hope that I will be able to film “The Change” short film around late 2026/early 2027.

Sometimes these moves are necessary and the key is to dig in and find the way through. If you are struggling with a multi-year development of a film project, know that you are not alone.

Just remember - Don’t lose sight of why you’re creating. With care, attention and a bucketful of patience, you’ll get there. ❤️

Another birthday in Sheffield @sheffieldtheatres (The Crucible) for the World Snooker Championship, once again fabulously organised by the @worldsnookertour

So many memorable moments this year:
1. Watching the defending champion Zhoa Xintong fall to Shaun Murphy in the quarters.
2. The nerve-wracking final frame decider between Mark Allen and Wu Yize (which I saw live).
3. The final frame decider in the final between Murphy and Yize (with rock solid tactical match play and sublime potting).
4. Seeing Dennis Taylor’s iconic snooker glasses, which he wore in the greatest snooker final of all time - The 1985 World Snooker Championship.
5. The wonderful tributes to late great snooker player and “voice of snooker” John Virgo.

So many more memories I could write about, but those were just a selection of the highlights.

Bring on the World Snooker Championship 2027!

Introducing Hats Ons Productions!

As a creative, owning and running a TV & Film Production Company has been a dream of mine for many years.

Our name is inspired by the Hats On for Hydrocephalus awareness campaign during the annual U.K. Hydrocephalus Awareness Week. As someone who has lived with Hydrocephalus since birth, highlighting the need for greater awareness of the condition was the driving force behind the name.

Here at Hats On Productions, we specialise in daring and rule-breaking scripted and unscripted projects, which aim to redefine social narratives around some of the world’s biggest talking points and taboos.

Our first two projects “The Change” and “Land, Sea & Air” will discuss the realities of disability, intimacy, sexuality and gender (The Change); and worldwide accessibility and the decline of the adventurous spirit for exploration (Land, Sea & Air).

We look forward to sharing our production company journey with you.

Rolled past the old stage doors of the Pavilion Theatre @brighton_dome and found myself in a reflective mood. Around 2006, I played Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I was 14 at the time. Little did I realise that 20 years later, I would be building a career in directing, writing, producing and acting - with the support, guidance and mentorship of celebrated actor, writer and executive producer @ruthmadeley

Sometimes it feels like I’m trying to break through those doors with my head. Sometimes I remember Ruth’s kind words - “This is where you belong!”

Yes, I still have a long way to go. BUT… It will never cease to amaze me how far I’ve come. For this, I’m eternally grateful for the opportunities which allow me to live a creative life; doing what I do best.

My 2025!

What a breakthrough year it was for me, thanks to @mammothscreen for giving me the opportunity to gain work experience and shadowing on the upcoming @bbc drama “The Rapture”. The effort and camaraderie that goes into making a project was simply mind blowing to see.

A big thank you also goes out to @jennifer._.perrott and @bebedierken for their insight, experience and friendship which was and will hopefully continue to be very valuable, as I look forward to the new year ahead.

Finally, I would like to thank my close friend and mentor @ruthmadeley for her support in providing me with this opportunity and the chance to take my career to the next level.

I hope that all of us, in one way or another, will be able to work and collaborate again.

To 2026, all I hope for is the chance to gain further experience and start bringing together my debut film. Let this be a fantastic year.

Anybody who knows me personally, knows that I am an absolute chilli-head; and for the first time ever - thanks to @southdevonchillifarm - I have been able to get hold of a selection of fresh super hots.

A call out to all #chilliheads in the U.K. - check South Devon Chilli Farm out. They have the best quality fresh chilli selection and the most varied chilli seed selection (for all those chilli growers out there). I’ll definitely be buying again from this AMAZING business.

Whilst work is working itself out, it’s time to finally hunker down and get some chilli plants started. I’m a chilli-head, so no better place to start than in hot-country with Habaneros and Naga Jolokia.
I would also like to give a special thanks to the @the_rhs for publishing the book which has given me the confidence to do it. #hobbies #horticultural #horticulture #chillies #chillihead #habanero #naga #springtime #heat #spicy #scoville #ingredients #plantlife by @ajclements_presents

Ten Years Clean From Drugs!
I made the double digits - one day at a time. Here’s to the next ten years.

#drugaddiction #drugrecovery #clean #tenyears A sobriety chip with the Roman numeral for 10. Also included are the words unity, service and recovery inside a triangle. On the edge of the chip is the statement “To Thine Own Self Be True”. by @ajclements_presents
