It was June of 1990! Ken and I were on our way to Hawaii for our Honeymoon! Since we had first class seats , we were allowed in the first class lounge in California. Dolly Parton was sitting in there too! The bartender asked her if we could get a photo and she said Of course! We both sat down very excited! There was a table of 5 men sitting at a table watching us take the picture. One of the guys yelled as the photo was taken( of course only one photo since it was 1990!) “She better watch out, she’s gonna loose him”(and they all began to laugh) As you can see my side eye!🤬Dolly smiled for the photo and as soon as it was done , she turned towards those JERKS and said very pleasantly , like a lady,” It doesn’t look like she has anything to worry about!” I will never forget those words. Such a beautiful person. by @ajeacoma
