One year. I miss her more than anything. That hasn’t lessened. I was numb for so long cause grief wasn’t an Option but then it just became an option just for me. It didn’t make sense to me. (I wish hospice etc would check on all the immediate family..not just spouses. We lost a parent which is pretty uncredited gut wrenching awful..just saying) My brother posted something which was perfectly said. We’d sit and say nothing a lot, but god those were amazing moments of peace, love.
I miss her laugh, her smile, I miss her sass, I miss her strength, I miss her silliness, I miss our banter, I miss her hugs. I miss HER. I miss the piece of me that’s gone that will never heal.
You don’t realize how much you take your loved ones and parents for granted every day. We assume nothing will change, until it does.
Today more than ever, I need my mom. I need her to help, tell me I’ll be okay, she will be okay, we will be okay and to stop being so angry and grumpy 😂I want to talk to her about life. For so long, it’s been people in my life talking over me, for me to hear them but not hear back. Rarely wanting to hear about my life, or what I have to say back. She never did that to me or made me feel like that. This is why I type of long rants, to get it out before it implodes me.
Today we will celebrate her. We will cheers her. But god, a women like that deserves to be celebrated every second of everyday. I try to. I love you Mom and hope those wings shine as bright as your smile 💜 by @ajerrinememe

This has been a struggle for me, mentally more than physically, this brace will break my sanity…only 5 more weeks. I’m allergic to the material on my fave so ahhhhgh. Thankful for great friends who understand & help me through it, and my girls for taking the best care of me 💜 Onward and upward. #newneckwhodis by @ajerrinememe

I know I look hot, relax 😎 It’s not me if it hasn’t been a roller coaster! Currently having a medical mystery in my one arm, no lie, took many many hours to get pain managed but at cost of a muscle relaxer that effs with my brain. BUT. My night RN, is a queen. We talked House Flipper 2 forEVER! (My bestie & I have been playing non stop) She stayed by me and talked forever too. Grateful for an amazing sweet rn when then even brushed my mess of hair. I need the sweet, listening, caring post op, and great bedside manner is everything. taken in Froedtert Hospital by @ajerrinememe

Spent the afternoon yesterday back at the ER, for a 2nd time, didn’t get to go on our trip and my dad’s Labor Day got ruined. I’m sad. But the breakthrough pain was the worst yet. Beyond grateful to have a PA that actually listened to my dad and I. I slept for the first time in a week, not waking in dire pain. I’m able to work today feeling okay enough! So grateful 💜

On a plus, I am hoping to fly out to AZ before end of month to get stuff looked at and finalized 🎉 by @ajerrinememe

spent mom’s day in the ER with my extreme spinal pain. Did it help? Absolutely not but got a diagnosis at least. America, there is nothing wrong with treating extreme pain. I get the epidemic but as someone with extreme chronic pain, I get why people do what they need to do & truly take thur lives. I went for relief too, and I’m still 8/10. Spinal dr is next at least! Now if we can make me livable in a few days for Mexico, that would help by @ajerrinememe

This has been my worst recovery to date. It’s been hell the pain I am still in, all because I’m having to do so much more for myself, I’m not staying off this leg like I’m supposed to and stairs aren’t helping I’m sure. People ask why I don’t ask for help, this is why ❤️‍🩹 but it’s okay! I felt to whine about it though cute cat pictures! Lily has been insane around me, trying to end dahlia who is hiding non stop. Wooo!! 🤦🏻‍♀️😎 by @ajerrinememe
