I love being a mother.

I had my daughter when I was 20 years old, in college, trying to figure out life—a child raising a child. However, the only guide I had was my desire for her to be better than me. So, everything I could think of, I told her, showed her, or sent her. Through any process, you are going to make mistakes; it's okay.

Now that my daughter is able to speak, see, and walk, and is her own woman, it's the most beautiful thing to watch. The bonus is all the things I may have missed through the process; my daughter is gracefully helping me become a better person.
