Long time MJ & Hakeem collector from Down Under!
I focus on 90”s playing years inserts & parallels in the PC!
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
A real MJ Triple threat! If you have been following my card collecting journey - you know i am not afraid of adding multiples of rare cards to my PC - like if you love a card - why limit yourself to just one! These 1996 Skybox Premium Triple Threat inserts are SUPER rare in mint condition (psa 9 or 10) with just 2 PSA 10's and just 12 psa 9's ever graded! So i now have 1/4 of the worlds PSA 9 pop count in my PC 😊 These are notorious for being miscut at production(graded min sized by psa), and are just nearly impossible to grade - those edges and corners are just so hard to keep in good condition on these cards! Happy to get my hands on a 3rd psa 9 copy recently and complete the MJ Triple Threat! #michaeljordancards #thehobby #michaeljordan #michaeljordan23 #triplethreats by @ajhowardtcc77

There aren't many better inserts/parallels in basketball card collecting then the Skybox premium star rubies - and ill go as far as to say they are actually #1 on my list (i know ill get called crazy for that - but these are so great!) Hakeem actually has 6 star rubies from the 97, 98 & 99 rubies available - and i also think this 98 "gold" true base card star rubies is his best of them all. These are serial numbered to just 50 (This is also #1/50), and extremely hard to grade - this PSA 6 is a pop 1 - with only 7 EVER graded by all grading companies - these are true rarity in a great looking parallel! This was an extremely welcome addition to the PC, and wont be ever going anywhere from it.... #thehobby #thedream by @ajhowardtcc77

Imagine being nearly 30 years after their release, and there is only 24 of these graded PSA 8 or higher.... Welcome to the super rare 1997 Collectors Choice Star Attractions Gold - these are finally starting to fall into collectors hands and i am super glad a second copy has been added to the PC recently 😊 As well as an amazing looking card with a full gold foil front finish - these are a super tough to grade card, i would nearly bet there wont be anymore added to the pop reports at or above these psa 8's, and i also think you might start seeing these in this grade and higher completely dry up, which will just drive demand for these ghosts up even more.... #michaeljordancards #thehobby #michaeljordan #michaeljordan23 #starattraction by @ajhowardtcc77

The 1997 SP Authentic Profiles III /100 are one of the earliest serial numbered 90's inserts, but don't seem to get the attention like some of its peers. This Hakeem PSA 10 is a pop 1 (only copy on the planet 😊) and with the way PSA grade - i would say this will remain the envy of collectors of this set and for Hakeem collectors. This PSA 10 is a grail card because of that - those "Collect the card, not the grade" people can get stuffed lol So happy to add this to the PC. #thehobby #thedream by @ajhowardtcc77

The latest addition to the PC is a relative new discovery that i have really got into. The Star Attractions Gold - these are SUPER rare and also tough to grade with all the die cut - and that gold foil surface - pictures do not do these cards justice! There are only 4 graded higher then this PSA 8 - do yourself a favor and check one of these out in hand - these cards are spunky!😂 #michaeljordancards #thehobby #michaeljordan #michaeljordan23 by @ajhowardtcc77

Since starting to add the Dream to my PC - i have strictly been trying to add not only rare inserts/parallels - but also cards that are iconic from his catalog of cards. This 1998 Bowmans Best Atomic Refractor fits right into both categories - serial numbered to just /100 - this years Atomic Refractors were the first years serial numbered Atomic Refractors. These are simply amazing to view in hand - add to the rarity of them, and these are must have for any serious collectors! This PSA 10 is just a pop 7 - and i really love single digit pop psa 10's 😊 #thehobby #thedream by @ajhowardtcc77

If i didn't mentioned it before - there is something about these 1996 skybox premium inserts that people need to pay more attention to (especially these and the Larger Than Life) How, after 30 years - do just 2 PSA 10's & only 12 PSA 9's exist? Ill keep adding them at these prices...who's got my 3rd one? 😂 #michaeljordancards #thehobby #michaeljordan #michaeljordan23 by @ajhowardtcc77

I knew as soon as i had started adding Hakeem to my PC, that it was inevitable i needed to add his 1986 Fleer rookie card! People who know me, know i hate BGS - but for some unknown reason i have always liked these 1986 Fleer cards in a BGS slab over PSA - its the only card i would ever buy in a BGS slab! Anyway happy to add this rookie card of the dream to the PC! #thehobby #thedream by @ajhowardtcc77

Another awesome card added to my Hakeem PC from my latest mail day was the 1997 Finest Embossed Refractor /74. Awesome pickup and definitely a grail type card, so happy to have come across this so early in the hakeem PC hunt. This PSA 8 only has 2 graded higher and any form of this card hadn't been sold in over a year, so happy to get this added :) #thehobby by @ajhowardtcc77

Time for some golden goodness! Another recent addition to the Hakeem PC - this super rare Starquest Gold PSA 7 (serial numbered to 100). This PSA 7 is a pop 2 - only 1 higher (PSA 8) - so that gives you an idea just how rare these are! Super happy to add this Hakeem grail card into the collection - i think for years these starquest gold flew under the radar, probably due to them being in such a crappy and cheap brand at the time - they are no longer under appreciated. Oh, and this is serial number #100 of #100 to add to the pickup (if that's a thing lol) #thehobby by @ajhowardtcc77

Sorry to interrupt the regular MJ content... But if you have seen my recent stories, ive started adding Hakeem to the PC - purely because i think he is massively underrated and under collected in the hobby. Not sure any team taking a player in front of MJ in a draft would ever actually be happy, but the rockets took the Dream #1 and i think they would be pretty happy with how this guy panned out :) This was the first card i bought and added to my Hakeem PC - the Fusion Titanium - its not only a very rare card, but looks amazing in hand! Really happy with the first addition! #thehobby by @ajhowardtcc77

PSA 9's from 90's MJ inserts that are super tough to grade have been running hot of late. It might not be well known - but these 96 Triple Threats are simply 1 of his toughest cards to grade. After 30 years - just 2 PSA 10's & only 12 PSA 9's - ide love to see one sell soon just to see how much this one from the PC might be worth! #michaeljordancards #thehobby #michaeljordan #michaeljordan23 by @ajhowardtcc77
