We demand justice. It's been 7 long days since our SATYAGRAHA MOVEMENT started. Our senior citizens are on hunger strike from February 12th, 2 of them have already been admitted to the hospital, and we still haven't received a single assurance or a positive reply from the authorities and the government. Today, all Bishnupriya Manipuri students, along with different associations, came together for a rally to submit a memorandum to the DC of Cachar at the heart of Silchar. Our demands are simple and legitimate:

Demands:
- Implementation of the cabinet decision on the medium of instruction at the primary stage, in line with NEP 2020 and Article 350(A) of the constitution.
- Creation of 300 posts of Bishnupriya Manipuri language teachers, filling up vacant posts, and conducting a special TET.
- Issuance of a gazette notification regarding inclusion in the Central OBC list.
- Creation of the Bishnupriya Manipuri Autonomous Council.
