The beauty of the magic in this world and the power they hold and its reflection upon them is perfection.

Bianca and Roland are absolutely everything to me! I’m seriously obsessed ( I need more yesterday 🙃). The longing, the yearning, the banter. They had me kicking my feet, giggling and then crying the next moment. Roland saw Bianca through all the facades down to her soul. They are so magical together✨ This is such a beautifully written book. I felt it in my soul especially when memories were recounted and the intricacies that is grief (especially when it came to Bianca😭). I’m counting down the days for book 2 I can’t wait to be reunited with my legendary lovers🫶🏻

I will forever sing praises for Bel this book is just EVERYTHING!

I genuinely loved EVERYTHING about this book. It is such an impressive and captivating debut, I fell in love with the universe, the characters, the magic, the lore, the court intrigue, the plotting , the scheming, the betrayals and the twists and turns. The unexpected was always around the corner.

Bianca and Roland were everything to me. From childhood friends/ rivals to lovers was beautiful to see. How they became more trusting of each other and were able to share their grief and inner most secrets was precious. Bianca saw through Roland’s facade and was the only one at court to truly see him and same for Bianca. Roland was the only person to truly see her. I loved watching their relationship unfold throughout all the trials and tribulations they faced and how it strengthened their bond.

Bianca bloomed more into herself and her power, it was beautiful to witness as she opened herself and became more confident especially with Roland. The intricacies of the magic was so easy to connect to with and understand the depth of the emotions that were being felt. I felt so connected to both Bianca and Roland and the troubles they were navigating. Their character development was so beautiful to witness, how they came more into theirselves as they came to trust each other and opened their hearts.

Bianca and Roland have my heart.

The writing was beautifully poetic too, especially when describing Bianca and Roland’s growing feelings. The past and the ghosts that were brought along with that and the grief that twisted inside of them. I loved it. This world felt so real and I felt all their emotions deeply, their happiness, their grief and their love.

I need book two desperately. I was not ready for the book to end the way it did.🥹

Clara is a shy person who finds herself exactly where she does not want to be in Rafe’s world. Teaching his son landed her in a situation she would’ve never imagined she’d be in. However, though it starts off as a difficult relationship it slowly develops into something much deeper. Clara is hiding something and when Rafe is confronted with it his world turns upside down. They have to learn how to trust each other and overcome it together.

I absolutely loved Clara and Rafe together. Especially when their walls broke down and they were able to learn to rely on each other. I loved how they were able to overcome everything that was thrown their way messy as it was and come out stronger together.

I loved the friends turned into family Clara had around her to get her out of a bad situation involving her actual family and how this ultimately showed her that she was not alone. She found family in Lilly, Mrs C, Poppy and of course Rafe and the Sterlings. It had my heart how the Sterlings had Clara and Zachs back and how well they meshed into a proper family.

I can’t wait for Poppys story🩷

🌙 until midnight forever🌙

My words cannot convey the true depth of my emotions regarding Daybreak. I felt so seen in Ophelia’s loneliness in Alex’s mental health struggles. I felt seen in their love, their trauma, their grief and their hope, their family, and their friendships. Thank you forever for the opportunity to experience Sorrowsong and all that there is to it. It’s a place that will forever live in my heart and soul. Alex and Ophelia my close and very personal friends I’ll forever think about you in whatever I do and my love for you will remain for as many midnights as I live. The writing was beautifully raw and dealt with so much love and care. I’ll forever sing Autumns praises because of the love and thankfulness I have for her for giving us this universe and these beloved characters.

My absolute darlings Alex and Ophelia got the ending they more than deserved and my heart is so full they deserve the heavens and the earth 🖤

P.S Gandalf1 was a totally cool password and totally not easy to guess 🧙🏻‍♂️

Daybreak was my most anticipated read of 2026, and it was everything and more. I can’t speak about it without getting emotional.

This book was beautifully and vulnerably written. It’s a story full of love, heartbreak, healing, trauma, grief and hope.

Alex and Ophelia are everything to me. They’ve embedded themselves so deeply into my heart, and their journey will stay with me forever. THE YEARNING had me on my knees ( I was there along with them). Mr Alex- yearn-alot🤍

This book took me on such an emotional journey. I cried so much like so so so much. I felt a lot of heartache but also hope.

I felt so seen through Alex’s mental health struggles, Ophelia’s loneliness, their trauma, and the way grief shaped them both. I saw parts of myself in both of them and their struggles. I related to them so deeply. There was a beautiful emphasis that even in our darkest moments, we are still worthy of love, understanding, and hope.

The found family was one of my favourite parts of this story. Alex’s family welcomed Ophelia with so much love and care his mum becoming like a third parent to her was something that touched my heart so deeply. The way the girls opened their arms to her and she to them and they became family. The love, dedication, and the way Vincenzo and Belladonna dropped everything to show up for Alex and Ophelia was everything.

Vincenzo had me laughing until I couldn’t breathe, his love and the way he showed up for Ophelia felt like a warm hug. Belladonna slowly warming up to Ophelia was precious, and the friendships with Colette, Magda, Divya and even Eike meant so much.

Alex and Ophelia fought for each other through everything, always reminding each other to hope and dream for more. Their ending was everything they deserved, and my heart feels so full.

Daybreak is a story that speaks to my soul and full of my favourite people close to my heart🖤

hiii !! This post is a bit different and not directly book related ( there are books in the post 🫣) but I just want to show a little bit of my life lately, I’ve not been super active with posting but honestly I think I’m just going through a bit of a slump and also I’ve been busier than usual! nonetheless, enjoy some pictures of what I’ve been upto lately from a little cheeky London trip to watch Hamilton!! oh and not to brag but I made Leslie laugh cause we just had direct eye contact and he was perceiving me for too long and he also winked at me !!! It was such a privilege to watch the masterpiece that production was. To grads 🎓. To visiting parks and making friends with squirrels ( I wanted to pick them up but was promptly told off), and of course spotting every book shop in London and taking a step in ( to the annoyance of my sisters). Thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support I’ve been receiving and getting me to 1.3k!! I’m so grateful for each and everyone one of you!! not long till daybreak and if anybody knows me truly they know it’s my absolute most anticipated read of 2026!! I’m genuinely so excited and can’t and will not apologise for the person I’ll become when it releases I’ll leave you with these pictures and my thankfulness ✨💗

These books swept me into a beautifully dark world filled with magic, danger, and unforgettable characters. Being a lamia , lupus or incantrix in this world is utterly dangerous with Lucas Rook, his liberators, Lilith and the Umbranima. Nothing ever feels predictable, which makes every page even more gripping.

Xander and Adriana’s story is layered with yearning, emotional depth, and a tension that only intensifies as the story unfolds. Their connection is complicated yet undeniable you can feel the love, longing, and emotional weight in every interaction.

There’s a haunting balance of light and shadow alongside blood and darkness throughout both books. There is a heavy theme of heartbreak, grief ,vulnerability, and quiet understanding woven together in a way that hits deeply. The atmosphere is consuming, making it impossible to step away once you’re in it.

The plot is full of twists catch you off guard, keeping the stakes high and the tension constant. Both books completely hooked me and I couldn’t put them down or even process what I was reading at times.

The romance is utterly consuming, with moments that feel overwhelming in the best way, plus exciting developments in relationships and deeper lore as the story expands. There’s also strong themes of brotherhood, friendship, sisterhood and unity within both books.

If you love dark romantasy with tortured heroes, powerful heroines, and an addictive world these books are a must read!!

Eric and Fran have my whole entire heart. I read this book as an arc and it blew me away I have a very very special place in my heart for this universe and these characters 🖤 I also gave Rae minute by minute updates as I read this it had me on the edge of my seat at some points and swooning the next🥹

The paperback is so stunning my sweet darlings look at them!!! I had to get it Eric and Fran are absolutely everything my darlings🥹 please please read you won’t regret it you may even feel somewhat haunted by it 😉
