Architects globally love using Glulam. Its capacity to be stronger than steel and its supreme pliancy makes Glulam a dream material to work with on bespoke builds.

This allows for more architectural freedom and dreams become a reality with clever designs and the natural beauty of the wood becoming a feature.

Glulam is favoured by innovative architects and structural engineers who look for more sustainable way of building. Swipe along to see some of our favourite builds.

Selecting the correct species to produce the best Glulam is so important! The timber we choose needs to be easily bonded and structurally consistent.

With the help from @hasslachernoricatimber we are able to use the best quality timber for our beams.

Not only do we know and trust the forests they source timber from, but we strongly agree with their morals and sustainability as a business.

Did you know, they have dedicated buyers on hand to assist suppliers in every region so that log wood purchasing goes quickly, smoothly and competently at every stage?

They also ensure that all timber chosen has processed from sustainably managed forests – from root to crown!

We think that's pretty special, dont you?

Check out their page to see some of the incredible architecture they have worked on!

😎GLULAM. ENGINEERED TO PERFORM.

💥Power. Precision. Performance.

🙅🏼‍♀️Forget ordinary timber. This is engineering at its finest.

💣 Born from carefully selected, strength-graded timber laminations, bonded under pressure and engineered to deliver exceptional structural performance.

🤌🏻Every layer has a purpose. Every bond contributes to the strength. Every millimetre is designed to work.

The power to span. The strength to support. The freedom to create.

From sweeping architectural curves to commanding structural frames, glulam combines remarkable strength with the natural beauty of timber.

Available in GL24h and GL30c grades, with the dimensions and versatility to meet the demands of ambitious designs.

No unnecessary weight. No compromise on precision. Just engineered timber doing exactly what it was built to do.

We’re always looking for creative ways to use our offcuts, and making the most of good material doesn’t have to be complicated.

This side table is one of the first projects made in a series called We’ve Got Wood, where we try to make something useful and beautiful out of our spare wood from the business.

Bashing out benches like there’s no tomorrow 🙂‍↔️

We’re keen on keeping up with the community here in Cross Green, and just down the road is Cockfield Primary School. Every now and then we slap something together for them, and today it’s a pair of picnic benches 💁🏼‍♀️ by @ajlaminatedbeams

A win 🏆

We’ve Got Wood!!

What do we think? How can this be improved? 😩 by @ajlaminatedbeams

It’s always a pleasure to see our beams go together to become something special - but an extra treat to see them become part of such a beautiful town as Aldeburgh!

A pleasure to have an architect (the fabulous @charlie_curryhyde ) who appreciates the versatility and beauty of glulam!

This is the team from @betimberframe working hard on getting this great structure up!

I guess I didn’t film a single step of this process??? Well done me.

This was my first idea.

I like it because it’s not too intricate or fiddly - the beam is still a beam, just with a bulb in it.

What do we think? How could it be better? by @ajlaminatedbeams
