It’s that time of year again, please join me on Saturday November 14th for my annual Open Studio event. I’ll have a handful of new works available and will also be focusing on a myriad of one of a kind test/color proofs from various different past editions.

Hard to believe but this is the 10th anniversary of this event. I’m always amazing and honestly quite proud of the community we’ve built together around my work. The Open Studio seems to be the culmination of this where we all get to share space together and celebrate what we’ve created. I sincerely look forward to seeing you all!

There’s still time to experience Psychedelic Splendor: The Concert Art of AJ Masthay & Helen Kennedy before the exhibition closes.

Featuring more than 70 vibrant concert posters inspired by some of the biggest names in music, this is an exhibition you’ll want to see in person.

Catch it before it’s gone. Sunday, September 20 is the final day.

To everyone that grabbed a print in yesterday’s drop - THANK YOU 🙏 🙏🙏 Your support of my work always leaves me humbled and beyond grateful.

I’m now looking ahead to the November 14th open studio event and am curious what you’d rather see, a couple small pieces or do I go bigger with a single larger statement piece? I do have multiple ideas for both but time is of the essence. Let me know what you think.

I love these old machines, the gears, the sounds, the smells.

This is a Vandercook Universal III proofing press and her name is Peggy Pinch Point or just Peggy for short. It’s cliche but they certainly don’t make ‘em like Peggy anymore. No phones were harmed in the filming of this reel. #ajmasthay #masthaystudios #printmaking #vandercookpress by @ajmasthay
