Dear summer 2026:

As you are coming to a close, it’s time for me to reflect on everything that happened to me this summer. I cried, I turned 27, I developed and maintained and pour into friendships and my family, I took vacations, I explored trauma, I worked out,I dated, I read a lot of books, and took steps on figuring out my path in life, had a lot of mental breakdowns, lonely nights, lots of movies, lots of friends, lots of love, and lots of dark times.

This summer taught me that life is ups and downs all the time and you learn something new about yourself everyday. I learned this summer, I love my friends, I love seeing people win, I don’t love cooking, I don’t have a patience, I hold high standards for people, I love animals, I love black media and art and humor, I love banter, I don’t love gas prices, and when I get drunk, I may not like men! This is just a small list and I learned so much more but the ultimate thing I learned is that I love myself and I love God! He got me, the universe got me, and I got it!

So this Fall, I take all these lessons and more but I want to spread more love, more memories, more humility and joy. I want to do that for myself!

Taking a step everyday to figuring out all about Aaron and his journey because boy is my life a story!

Okay that is it for now! Journey entry done!

Ps: It was a hard summer but one that is definitely going down in the memory books. So peace out summer of 2026! Girl, we had a time

Xoxo,
