Collection 01 now Available Online.
 It’s been a long journey. I am just filled with gratitude to be at this point. Thank you to everyone that has helped me along the way.

Every AJS piece of Collection 01 is made
individually by hand in Bali, Indonesia. All garments are sewn by hand, with a great deal of human time going into each piece. Many thanks and gratitude to my Tailor Nova and her team.

Bali has given me a great deal, including the opportunity to create AJS.

I first went to YKPA orphanage 2 years ago, where I encountered many children living without blood family members and often proper amenities as a result of being orphans born into poverty. There are ample children going through life without the care of family and of the support many others have been so lucky to grow up with.

For all that Bali has given me, and in the hopes to give back something positive. 10% of profits from all Online Sales of Collection One will be donated to YKPA kids Orphanage in Denpasar. The money donated will provide food, amenity care, educational aid and further support YKPA’s broader mission.

A great deal of my desire to create something of my own was to be able to shoot and create entirely for myself. Something that I loved without the need to do so for anyone else’s taste.

On my first keychain sample, I had engraved ‘Untukmu, Dan Bukan Orang Lain’ in Indonesian. This reads ‘for you, and for nobody else’. A reminder to myself of what I was looking for. To create something that I love, that was honest, that fulfils me and that lit me up - for I know that is where the most real things we can create come from.

When it came time to shoot and create the first campaign for AJS, I knew exactly where I wanted to go.

Paris is a city I have been in love with for a long time. It brings out a part of me in full that I am still trying to understand. A constant wonderment, excitement and inspiration of what is around me.   Some moments from my first campaign in Paris.
