How I built custom, ready for fall “Over the Garden Wall” Yard Art for under $160!

That’s a rock fact: You don’t need a massive budget to have the coolest custom yard art on the block! 💀🎃

We combined plywood/wood scraps from neighborhood scrap piles with $160 of hardware store supplies to build our Over the Garden Wall - Yard Art setup.

The budget breakdown:
• $0 Trash-to-Treasure: Facebook Buy Nothing Groups to find plywood, wood scraps, 2x4s, acquiring neighbor’s old loose PVC pipes they had sitting around.

• The Hardware Store Run: Wood screws, U-shaped brackets, rebar to secure them in the ground, and 3 door hinges so the big pieces fold out into sturdy stands and fold up easy.

• The Details: Any and all bottles of acrylic paint the kids had from various craft projects, outdoor wood sealant from neighbor to keep these going for years to come, and canvas fabric material from Amazon that I cut in strips for Enoch’s wind-blown body streamers. Used some RGB outdoor lights I got on Temu for a while back to light up the big prices in orange and moved my solar yard lights to highlight the others.

The Beast is officially watching over the neighborhood this October/November!

Rate the setup 1-10!
